It really might be the anime of the year, at least it has its chances, musics, sequences, stories, characters, the manga is incredible too, what a chemical combo !

the poker face, the music, the animation, the vibes, the dialog, the slow walk, the destruction. 100/100 I love this anime so much.

beautifully choreographed fights where nobody is screaming their face off to a generic hype fight ost, it was all around gorgeous, its like they directed it the way you would a piano recital where the actions only interrupted briefly to portray how the musics affecting the characters before winding up again

Don't let the badass music distract you from the fact Fern was practically fighting one-handed after getting hit hard in the shoulder. Her grip on her staff was very light with her off-hand, and later in the scene she's holding it one handed, bracing against her forearm And of course, she was hiding her mana the whole time This isn't Fern at her best, not by far
