As an Italian, I demand an apology from California for having declared itself the capital of pizza.
  • @Lloyd_lyle
Honestly the flags in the style of California actually look pretty good compared to the flags most of the states have now
  • As an italian living in Lombardy, I have never thought of our flag having a fidget spinner instead of a Camunian rose. That made me laugh very hard ahahah
  • Hey i saw a lot of confusion about my Island's flag (Sicily) so i hope i can clarify some stuff, so the terrifying monster in the middle is a gorgoneion, the monster of greek mythology wich is generally known as medusa, the thing has three legs because sicily is literally a triangle and there are wheat ears because we are famous for our wheat. the flag was first adopted after the rebellion against the french occupation during the "Vespri siciliani" in 1282. I personally like it and I'm very proud of it! As a Sicilian and a history boy.
  • 6:23 I knew Drew was bad at Math, but I didn't know he was this bad, he literally read '49' as 'forty-seven', that's basic arithmetic Drew wtf

  • Random Facts: Vietnamese is recognized as a minority language in the Czech Republic The Czech Republic is the only one who recognizes it as a minority language 26,205 Vietnamese people are currently living in Russia Two-thirds of them live in Moscow, where a statue of Ho Chi Minh has been built in Akademichesky District in Moscow, which was built in May 18 1990 There are 2,600 ethnic Vietnamese currently living in Bulgaria and only 1000 live in Brazil Mường is the closest related language to the Vietnamese There are a million people currently living in Meghalaya (in the Assam region of India, bordering Bangladesh) speaking a language more related to the Vietnamese and Khmer than to Hindi and Bengali (ignoring any influences they had on it) Before the Thai migrations into Indochina, modern day Thailand was ruled by the Mon kingdom of Lavo (The Mons are in the same branch of the Austroasiaitc language family as the Vietnamese, Khmer and Khasi)

14:41 fun fact: the age difference between the flag of sicily (1282) and the flag of the isle of man (1971) is about 689 years :)
  • @legitplayin6977

  • @FanFictionneer
English (ESL), geography and history teacher here! The thing with Wales not being in the Union Jack is because it had already unified with England when England and Scotland got into their union in the early 18th century that brought on the Union Jack. So it's basically a part of the English section of the flag (though I do kinda feel bad for Wales lol).
  • @LJ_Cy
