Can we just all admit that THIS was the golden era of team logos? Every team had an awesome logo back then
-
Best part of ripping the cards from the early, mid 80s.. It brings us right back to when we were kids ! just need some Duran Duran playing while opening this up. Men at Work!!
-
Listening to yr home-team's games on a.m. radio in the 50s-80s has to be one of the best, most pure American experiences ever! Fun break.

@14:49 that third player with the blue and white strip you are looking for is Frank White, Kansas City Royal great.
-
Wade Boggs looked like the oldest 24 year old.
-
Wasnt "Eddy Harris" from the movie "Major League" based on Gaylord Perry? Thanks again Jabs! π

My monthly junk wax subscription box came in recently with a single β83 Fleer pack. I pulled Tony Gwynn! Hard to imagine paying over $300 for that entire box and not getting one TG. Nice box though with some nice pulls.
-
Love the "2 Photos on Every Card!" from the front of the box lol
-
I broke a 1992 jumbo box of Bowman for $440 and did not pull a Piazza or Rivera. I was very frustrated to say the least.
-
First packs I remember opening as a kid were 85 Topps
-
Loved watching this video! The β83 Fleer George Brett was my first PC card. Thank you for the memories!!
-
Great video. Excellent commentary
-
Awesome box!!! 83s

Thanks for doing this Throwback Thursday break Jabs. Love the 83 Fleer set and the grey color. One of my favorite sets from the 80's. Really enjoyed the past thirty minutes and going down memory lane. Set was released when I was 10 and my parents did buy me some packs.

These are a special set of cards for me. These & 83 Topps were the 1st cards I ever bought. My favorite card ever is the "Smith Bros" card which I still have even though it's in bad condition from keeping it in a show box
-
Nice how Fleer finally figured out how to take decent pics!
-
Love the vod

Champ summers was a Vietnam vet and was kind of high strung. He was a platoon player with the Reds in the late 70βs
