At nearly three million to monitor the bridge, it seems to be more than a precaution, but they expect issues and want to be able to close the bridge just before it fails. I would avoid that thing like the plague. I don't think I can clench my cheeks together the entire time it takes to cross that thing, especially during rush hour.
