It really is too bad more people don't enjoy your music Edward, you're a great pianist.
-
I love this song, and the fact that it has much more meaning, due to The Caretaker, makes it even more beautiful in my eyes. Nice.
-
this was the only wholesome grandpa on youtube that wasnt a disgusting man in the past. may he rest in peace
-
Rest In Peace Edward, if you are truly gone, may you play your piano in heaven. God bless you!
-
Rest in peace, Mr. Edward. You played such a lovely rendition of such a lovely yet sad song. Thank you.

5 years ago people still comment on this beauty. And you still respond to them. its just so nice
-
2023 and still listening to this amazing piece
-
I like the bit of history at the start.
-
Sounds beautiful. I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t come here from the caretaker, but I definitely stayed for the great piano work.
-
the memory of him isn't burning it's strengthening.
-
This is a Beautiful Refresh after listening to The Caretaker's album.
-
Finally.. After like, 200 videos, I finally found someone playing this piece on piano. Bless your soul! Thank you so much for uploading this!

Al Bowlly Actually lived a pretty tragic life. His wife left him at the altar during their wedding, he was later killed in a bonding raid by the Germans in WW2, and now the only reason most people know him nowadays is due to his songs being sampled in an album about dementia.
-
R.I.P, you’ll be remembered.
-
I sincerely hope that this song never leaves his memory 😢

POV: you're in heaven, finally reunited with your loved ones, after your long-fought battle with dementia. Everything did turn out to be okay. Life...well, afterlife...looks good. Ngl this made me more emotional than eatot ever did. It made me feel like it was finally over. And that the patient could finally, truly rest in peace.

Its frankly heartbreaking to go wander from the caretaker, to this wonderful, passionate man, playing a beautifully sad song, only to find, he passed away 10 months ago.
