For anyone wondering, the music playing is "All Ends Are Beginnings" from the final cutscene of vanilla D1 just changed up a little with some more percussion. Quite a throwback just before our ultimate fight.

This is the Ikora version of the Zavala's prelude we got when Red War premiered in 2017. Absolute fantastic cinematics the both of them. All that remains is the Cayde version or perhaps Crow's?

What is a guardian? I know exactly what we are. We're best frenemies with a history of intense mutual hurt and messy reconciliation, leaving a deep tenderness as well as an almost impenetrable knot of scars. What could be simpler? One stone can change the whole landscape of the board. Of course, I worry which side played that stone. But Guardians make their own fate. (p.s. The Traveler moved across the face of the iron world. It opened the earth and stitched shut the sky. It made life possible. In these things there is always symmetry. Do you understand? This is not the beginning but it is the reason.)
