If you've watched any of the videos on my channel before you will know that I am a huge advocate for diet playing a major role in the development and progression of Multiple Sclerosis. As I have discussed this I have had many questions asking what exactly I do eat during an average day. So I thought it best to record a day of eating for me, including everything that I ate in that specific day.

Hopefully you find it useful for if you are looking to stat a diet to combat an autoimmune issue whether it be Multiple Sclerosis or another issue you may have.

Let me know in the comments if you have any questions at all, or let me know what other diets you have tried!

Stay tuned for more videos and hit subscribe if you would like to follow my journey and hopefully we can learn from one and another and live an incredibly healthy life.

Let me know where you are at in your journey in the comments below and let me know what has helped you come to terms with your diagnosis and what has helped you take control.

Hi in the colder months soup is a great alternative to smoothies. You can make a big pot and freeze some in individual portions. Easy to get lots of greens in. I’m doing Wahls diet. Thanks for sharing
  • Thanks for the examples. Very helpful. Glad I found your channel. Subbed.

I have started the Best Bet Diet as well I have MS have had it for 20 years. I have noticed a difference in a short period of me trying the Diet and I’m so focused on making this my life. I want to wake up pain free and with no stiffness. I have done fresh kale with olive oil and 3 garlic cloves mashed with some roasted potatoes in a pan and some chicken breast and it’s delicious for lunch kept me full and focused without feeling hungry and tired

hi Tom! Thanks for posting about your journey! You are one of the first youtubers with MS i started to fallow when I was diagnosed in 2021. I just saw Living Proof back then and I related alot with your journey on trying to figure out which diet/ treatment etc. should fallow. Seeing how helpful are these videos for me and other people, I am thinking to start a channel also in the hope I can help others with ideas, but also maybe will keep me accountable when it comes to diet and exercise :) but i need more courage :)) My question are: Does Oatley break the fast? I am also trying to do intermitting fasting, so I gave up my teaspoon of honey in it as I thought is only permitted black. In terms of the bread- which brand do you use? I live in Vienna- Austria and I find it hard to find gluten free breads that do not contain soy (as i think in BBD soy is also not ok, correct me if I am wrong) I found one that I like that is made from patato, but I would like more options. Thanks and best wishes to you on your journey!

Please, keep doing videos of what you eat every day. Thanks
  • I make salads for lunch that are a mix of cooked veggies - cut green beans, beets, spinach, carrots, broccoli, artichoke hearts, olives, really whatever you have on hand - with a bit of rice or quinoa, a protein like salmon or chicken or boiled egg, a few nuts and a dressing of extra virgin olive oil, herbs, and lemon or orange juice or vinegar. I like to add crushed red pepper flakes for some zing. It's easy, adaptable, filling, delicious.
  • Do you eat Larabars? I’m on the Wahls Protocol and I’m obsessed with them but I don’t know if I should be eating them.
  • @karenpny
Have you tried baking spinach and tomatoes (add carb)? It's delicious...chicken cutlets, tomatoes, and spinach 350° for 45 minutes. I drink a veg smoothie every day too, only I use almond or coconut milk. Take care!

This seems like a good diet, I haven’t been diagnosed yet but I’m having some MS symptoms I have Neuro appointment in Feb. I have tried Keto before and really missed eating fruits this might be a good one to try. Do you have a linked website to the diet you’re on? I am also trying to stay off medication 💊 and use healthy eating and CBD instead.
