I am 62 yrs young my first car when I was 16 was a 1966 Chevy Impala 283 motor it was black 2 door black split bench seat it had a sears air conditioner mounted under the dash . I put my 8 track tape player in it with big stereo speakers on the back seat . I worked for a farmer and paid $60 for it and drove it home . It was in very good shape . Man I wish I still had that car today

Those old refrigerators don't mean a lot to most people, but they really changed a farmers life...much more so for the farmer's wife. A real technological advance back in the day...an even greater impact in Texas and other southern states.

Slow smooth camera work and good informed commentary really rises these videos above 95 per cent of what appears on You Tube. Great stuff. 👍

It's great to see vintage vehicles are being found on these old farms and are being given a chance to go to a new home. Thanks for sharing.

Love the ‘57 Ford body style of the ‘57 2 door Custom 300. I had one back in the later ‘60’s. Wish I had it now. Great video!

I worked on an old Sears garden tractor once. Reunited it with its bucket loader that was two blocks away in the weeds and in pieces. It also had a three point box blade with ripper teeth. Cleaned up the hydraulics, reassembled, reattached and got it all running. Lots of blue smoke from the old 16 horse Tecumseh. Had to hold my breath a lot. The loader worked well, but just barely enough to beat using a shovel.

10 out of 10, love these abandoned farm auctions! Great filming too, keep them coming, so much history to see, wish I could have been at the auction, you doing great!

Keep 'em coming! It's a poignant view of a lost America. Thanks for the video!

Lifetime accumulation. Often it was cheaper and easier park a vehicle and buy a used replacement for $25 to $100. Having the intention to work on them "when you get a round to it." Multiple pieces of farm equipment not only was a backup plan to insure all field work was completed but also allowed more hands to work. Cool relics!

I enjoy your videos so much I'm a little disappointed when it ends, hopefully the footage you take will be around for others to enjoy 80 years from now.
-
Love those old ford trucks.
-
Thank you for taking me along! Hopefully the cars and equipment will find a good home and some TLC. Sadly that farm will soon sprout McMansions :-{

Like Scott said on coldwar yesterday-parking these cars in the trees just accelerates their rusting.
-
Love your camera work! Thanks for putting a smile on my face! Keep up the great videos

First car I drove to high school was a 48 Chevy sedan. Had a lot of fun in that ole car.
