“The Little Mermaid,” visionary filmmaker Rob Marshall’s live-action reimagining of the studio’s Oscar®-winning animated musical classic, opens exclusively in theaters nationwide May 26, 2023. “The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.

You can tell she has been classically trained, her vocal strength, control, intensity, pitch and diction are flawless. I cried watching her sing this in the movie, her voice moves me to tears every time. She is a beautiful person with a beautiful voice

The main character in The Little Mermaid has always been THE VOICE. This is what Ursula steals not her hair or her skin. The voice is what makes this character more than anything else and in that respect; perfect casting!

I saw people say “she shouldn’t be the little mermaid, she didn’t show enough emotion when singing!” She did absolutely incredible, and she did convey emotion, just admit you don’t want to see successful people at this point. She has a beautiful voice and she has so much talent on top of that.

Her vocals are beautiful, she nailed both the singing and acting of Princess Ariel. She embodied her curiosity, adventurous spirit and was just adorable. Her and Eric were cute and were written to compliment each other well too. I loved the underwater effects and the design for her tail✨💫
