  • The Klipsch R-41m bookshelf speakers offer incredible sound and value for the price. Highly recommended

Over the last year, I have purchased 3 pairs of the R-41M as entry level audio gifts for the grandkids. I do enjoy these speakers as they pack a LOT OF FUN for so little money in a very manageable size.

I bought 4 of these to use as my home theater surrounds. I mainly bought them because of the price point and am pleasantly surprised. They really sound good and work perfect for this application. I used the R-51M for my front speakers up until I upgraded to towers and they were great too.
  • I ended up ordering a pair of these will definitely go well with my Klipsch Forte towers that was built in 1985. I've had these Forte for about 20yrs bought it off of a friend 300 bux. Never have these speakers failed me. Not once!

As a hobby, I restore vintage audio equipment and bought a pair of these last year around this time. After rebuilding a Marantz 1550 last week, I thought I would try these while it was still on the bench. Amazing sound, so full for such a small unit. I liked them so much I ordered the R-51Ms to try as well. Great speaker for the price and suck full sound quality. Great review as well.

I really like these speakers. I bought a pair off Amazon for $116. I have them connected to a Yamaha RX-V385. I listen to a wide variety of music from, Mahler to Taylor Swift, and while I don't have much experience with home theater gear I think it sounds great. I tested them out watching Band of Brothers Bastogne episode on stereo mode and it sounded fantastic, even without a sub. At this point I don't know that I need a full 5.1 system but I'm planning on finishing out the 5.1 piece by piece with Klipsch.

I just bought these, excellent review, just what I wanted to see
  • Great speakers Bruce I have heard of theses I have been thinking about getting a pair . I was all so wondering if you are going to show your stereo set up that you use . Thank you for all you do .

I know this is 2 years ago, but I believe klipsch quote sensitivity at 91db, not 90db. Aside from that, these are a bright speaker, due to the horn style tweeter, that said, they image really well even when not toed in, so you can take a little of that brightness edge off by pointing them straight into the room rather than toeing them in. I found these, like a lot of Klipsch speakers in the more budget range, quite veiled in the midrange, particularly lower midrange. Just something that should be mentioned. Also the bass can lack punch, so you'd definitely want a sub-woofer with these speakers to complete the lower end. They are not a bad speaker, but just a couple of things to be aware so make sure you have a good return policy if trying these out as they will not be to everyones taste.
  • Thanks Bruce great video I was thinking about getting a pair of theses speakers . I was wondering if you are going to show your stereo set up that you use some time . Thank you for your all you do I am a big fan of your work I have learn so much .
  • @BallSoHard78
I purchased 4 of these for my surround sound speakers and im using the Focal Thevas for my fronts.
  • @jaedo71
I have always liked Paradigm speakers.
  • @yoshieuno
What would be the best and affordable way to set these up as studio monitors like you would with the active R-41PM speakers? I've seen people use the Nad setup but also desktop amps from dayton audio and fosi audio! Looking for good sound quality but something that won't kill my wallet.
  • @MrMtr999
Do you know what Klipsch model is the successor of R41-M?
  • @bmanh2355
Depth, why didn’t u use the CD case to demonstrate for perspective.
  • @JadeB628
Can these speakers be converted to one center channel? simply by joining them woofer to woofer. it would be cheaper than buying a quality center.

Thoughts on Klipsch R-51M Bookshelf Speakers with AT-L60X-BT turntable. Versus Klipsch R-41M Bookshelf Speakers for AT-L60X-BT? I’m afraid that are Klipsch 51m are too big! I was getting the edifier R1280DBS because of the size. It’s a Christmas gift, and she young & she is brand new to turntables, so I could always updated as she gets older. Trying to get a descent pair of speakers. Debating between with 51M and 41M. Are the klipsch’s plug and go too like the edifiers? Are they all active speakers? Thanks!
  • @georgeryan3534
Just got a pair driven by a 100 watts tube amp can't stop listening great speakers
  • @fuscaldoscot
Thanks for the review! I am indecided between these and the DALI Spektor 2. Have you got any idea how those compare to the Klipsch?
