STOP OVERPACKING TOILETRIES | Minimize Your Carry On [Effortless]

Published 2024-05-23
All my best tips about reducing your liquids to EASILY pack your toiletries in your carry-on bag!

Often our toiletries can take up the most space and weight in our travel bag. In order to minimize our luggage, One of the best areas to start is with our toiletries and personal products. Here I will be showing and exemplifying some travel products I like to use. That are also on the eco concious, eco friendly side of skincare and personal care product lines. This also enables me to not be overwhelmed by packing. Keeping my packing extremely minimal and therefore I can stop overpacking. Packing minimally is a good way to introduce ourselves into a minimalist mindset and the minimalism lifestyle, even if we are not minimal in other areas.

the Dr. Bronner's solid bar is even better since it's not a liquid. I just cut it in half for travel. Lush also carries solid perfumes you can cut to size.

My boyfriend a Travel with one carry on. He and my clothes in one carry on. Extrem ultralight minimalist. And we have pacsafe men bag and a crossbody ultralight bag.

Great Video. If someone here is watching from Germany or other EU countries, I highly recommend the deodorants made by Wolkenseifen. The small ones last half of a year at least, their tiny samples two weeks, I used mine four weeks. It is enough to use it once a day and they have many different fragrances. Greetings from Germany, Mary❤

I think our lists are similar, though I have yet to find a lip tint I really like. Laziness has helped me so much with toiletries 😂 I'm down to: - Mascara (L'Oréal, because they have one that isn't black or very dark brown that doesn't flake easily) - Tinted SPF (MD Solar Sciences) or SPF (Earth Harbor) (I'm so picky because my skin stings with some even when they're only zinc) - Deodorant (Esca - tallow based, no baking soda to bleach my clothes) - Soap (something unscented; I have used Dr Bronners sometimes) - Makeup remover (Tesco) - Lip gloss (Lisa Eldridge, as moisturising and long lasting as a balm) - Tallow (for any other sort of moisturising) These are not just for travel, but for daily life as well. I don't wash my face (or body, or hair, except hands, and feet when dirty) so the makeup remover takes care of the tinted SPF and mascara, when I bother to wear those things. I need vinegar to rinse my hair in hard water as well, but I don't usually travel to places with hard water.

New Subber here, I love your channel. I’m a huge believer in minimalism . I became one after a messy split . I highly recommend it. We don’t need a lot to be happy do we? ❤ all the best to you !

These are some great tips, sadly as someone with curly hair I very much need 4 hair products or my hair will become a giant tangled knot 😭 but I will be trying some of these tips!

I don't bring any shampoo and conditioner bottles anymore. I use all natural shampoo and conditioner bars. They are brilliant!

  • Everyone can be month without skin care. I decided only on suncream and moisturizer . Ok you might be convinced me not to take the moisturiser but this is my smallesr package so is like no Much winning qua space

I just ordered the Wilde travel - I use Native but the don't have a travel non plastic version! Thanks for the recommendation!! I am shocked at all the waste people use daily and for travel! I have been trying to reduce all of our consumption. Not sure I will get to your one bag version but we never check and try to only bring what is needed. I feel like every trip I reduce more and more of the "just in case"s. Thanks I like your content!!

I love how light you live and travel! 😍 I just came across with your channel and I am loving every single video I have seen so far. For traveling what do you do when it comes to body moisturizer or conditioner? Just curious, I’ve been trying to travel lighter but this two products I find I always need them, my skin is very dry and my hair is very thick and dry. 🥰🥰🥰
  • I am a minimalist I have extremely minimized kitchen but I am also a dancer and there I kind of can't go down the minimal zone yet . I had to test pack for my trip in three weeks and toiletries is full hahaha I just still mentaly can't accept to miss product I like to use hotel or baby shampoo I don't like at home . Last time I visited my sister I didn't take douche gel and shampoo and conditioner and end up hating it Because she don't own conditioner and her shampoos aren't my taste:( I just find it hard to not pack too Much but I came up with a plan I don't use 100ml bottle's anymore I minimized to 50 to 70 mls and that way all look with more space 🚀. I also keep it very minimalist on the clothes I take but on the dance clothes is again a disaster. I try to mustipurpose the items and still I can't plan all dancing events and clothes . Will be amazing if I go on non dancing weekend away than I can feel like minimalist. I don't own furniture accept bed it in the make up and clothes is still Minimizing requirements but i have to wait some items to expire. I still feel Amazing being in the minimalist journey. I have done amazing but is on going thing

I would love it if you could list were to find the products! Thanks a million! Love your videos!

I always love your encouraging videos! Sometimes we just overthink or let that scarcity mindset take over! Also, I realized that the less and the closest to the one ingredient products we put on our body, the better our skin looks!
