I’ve always had a passion for thrifting and collecting, and your story really resonated with me. I grew up in a similar situation and found it so refreshing to hear someone else share that experience. Despite the financial challenges, I had a happy and fulfilling childhood. I work extremely hard to ensure that my kids don’t face the same struggles, even though I cherish those years. To give you an idea, on a scale of 1 to 10 of being poor, I’d say I was first-generation Latino poor—haha. But honestly, those were some of the best years of my life. Thanks for sharing your story. You guys rule.
