Thanks for the post..It took me a long while to understand what you are pointing out but I'm glad I get it now..makes perfect sense really..
  • I think this is a prime example of studying in 2d vs 3d. He releases the club way earlier than all of us think. And the thing that is missed is he is tilting away so he can throw it high and above him. He is utilizing a perfect COP velocities. The club has a longer way to travel on way down because he threw away all angles immediately at start at transition. Not throwing it after the strike 2d vs 3d and COP velocity utilization

I just imagine I'm hitting with thee grip. It seems to accomplish what you advocate.

What would be a good drill to a dive this? When you are describing linear motion what does that really mean? How and where should the force be applied to achieve a linear application of force? I know there is a truth here but it is hard to grasp.

All this time I've been trying to have my club line up at impact with my left leg. I've been pulling the club there. The pros and the better golfers have the club lined up with their right leg at impact. So I had no chance at hitting the ball consistently and the Holy Grail wasn't working for me from the start because the swing is all right sided anyways, right? (No pun intended) That's why I couldn't look in the direction of the Holy Grail swing because of my misperception. Does this make sense to you? Please let me know. Thanks!!

This is the typical type of analysis that gives the average golfer paralysis!
