Woman Trucker/ Driver-Roll Off

Driving a roll off truck was my first driving job. I never thought of pulling the full dumpster out like that. That's a really good idea that would save a lot of time.

I drove a roll off semi for years. Most of the time when I had to put and empty in the same spot as the load I had to drop the empty, pick up the load, drop that, pick up the empty and put it where it goes, then go get the load. All this in downtown Chicago, just finding a place to do all this was a challenge. Excellent job Michele.

That's dope. Never seen a woman doing Rolloff before. You make it look easy. Good job! When I get my CDL I was thinking about doing frontloader or residential.

Nice job! It makes me happy to see women doing these jobs usually all the you tube Feminist preachers hoot and holler about women doing "mens" jobs but they mostly steer clear of these types of jobs! Glad to see you out Representing! Keep up the good work!

A little tip call the customer earlier and had them packed multiple times. That way you don't have that big a mess to clean up afterwards.

I thought about doing this but it usually takes me about 5-6 minutes to swing it. I think this my take 3 minutes but there's a chance of messing up the pavement and limited on space to move around. It's a pretty good idea that might come handy

Can't wait to get my CDL license this week. I love the roll off. I hate the heavy hook on our trucks but we don't have to chains when we hook up. Our roll off just have the hook. The old man would have been out there helping clean up that mess lol

We have a funiture warehouse that is full of plastic wrap and Styrofoam. Smh. It gets so comacted its hard to dump. Also they over fill it and mountains of tiny foam fall out. I take a pic and let them clean it. Im not grounds keeper.

People think I'm weird for actually WANTING to do this, lol. How should I get started? I know that you need a CDL A or B to drive one of the trucks, but. Should I just start as like, a residential helper or something until I can pay to take the class? Will some waste companies pay for your CDL class as long as you stay with them for a certain period of time? I now some of the OTR trucking companies do that but I'm not trying to drive a semi truck lol. Been into trash trucks since I was a little kid (probably like every other child, I just haven't grown out of that stage and probably never will lol).
