What a class act he is. Humble, gracious and thankful. And even funny! He is a national treasure.

Jackson Browne is one of the very best people I have shared my time on Earth with. His music and integrity have been a beacon of light that has helped me keep moving forward with a smile on my face. A great talent!
  • Poet, philosopher, expresses the conscience of the modern day angst. Beautiful songwriter and unusually talented man.

Brilliant song writer. Brilliant activist. Very few like him, a great combination of talent and conscience.

The man is a sage and a shaman. He wrote the soundtrack of our youth and transcribed our heartbreaks from our hearts. The song writers , song writer. Thank You for decades of amazing music and wisdom for the common man.
  • David Lindley's fiddle and steel guitar play elevated JBs music to another level. The level attaining heaven unmatched by others
  • Jackson is 55 in this video. He looked so young for years, I'd say he was just starting to age here but young for 55 (more like early 40s). One of the smartest most introspective musicians ever

Still handsome as ever! Bravo Jackson on this honour! Have loved your music since the beginning and will forever!

You can count on one hand the number of writers who carried the word and feeling of the time in East LA the way Jackson does. He will always be a true Manolete of the neighborhood, where, unfortunately, few of his ethnic background were welcome. He held he passion, the pain, the joy, and love of the familia, home, and friends throughout his career, at the same time a passionate soldier for others around the world who are not as blessed as we are.

He is a regular dude. I had the very rare opportunity of meeting Jackson in his parents backyard in the early 70's in Southern California. He was playing piano out on the patio 2 or 3 doors down from where I lived. While sitting out on my patio I could hear the piano playing clearly and beautifully, so I walked down the path behind our house and saw Jackson playing. I stood outside the fenced yard looking in and before long he saw me and kind of waved me in. I didn't know who the heck it was but I strolled into the yard walked over and we started talking about the times. I was going to Cal State at the time and Jackson was thinking about going to school. I got to rattling on as I do and I said something stupid like "Hell, everybody is trying to be a musician these days." Jackson then said something very profound, he said something like "I think I'm going to make my money with this band." and I replied "Yea, that's what everybody these days think." Everybody I knew was in a band, playing music and they all thought they were going to make it. Well anyway, much to my surprise - I learned that crow really doesn't taste that bad. In the next few years I got a chance to hear Jackson play around several places in SoCal and Yes he did make it!!

This was great. What an amazingly heart felt speaker. He keeps himself clear as glass, refracting light.

If you ever see Jackson in concert, he is absolutely hilarious talking in between his songs. All around superstar.

The single greatest influence in my life, over 43 years. My respect and admiration for Jackson as a singer-songwriter & as a man who walks the walk knows no bounds. A true American Treasure. Stephen Courts
