This video is about bicycle maintenance.
How often do you change the grease in the wheel hubs of your mtb bike?
Cyclists often don't realize that you need to change the grease every 2000 - 3000 km.
It is necessary to disassemble the bicycle wheel hubs in order to detect internal damage on the cone nuts and bulk bearings.
If the bearing is not replaced in time, it can damage the inside of the wheel hub.
Today we will be disassembling a common hub design on bulk bearings.
We will clean and change the oil.

Good job servicing the hub. I especially liked how you adjusted the bearings at the end. Thats the proper way to do the adjustment of a QR hub. A couple comments: it's better to clean the hub's cups without removing the dust covers. Yes it'll be trickier but you avoid damaging the dust covers. Also, you might consider replacing the bearing balls instead of cleaning them. They are cheap enough.
  • Superbe video , dont j'avais bien besoin , ayant quasiment le même montage merci beaucoup 👍

I despise those Shimano hubs with the entirety of my soul. Every single rainy ride i had to service it 🙄🙄 You did a really neat job :)
  • Its already at the stage of breaking out the hub, have a check and maintenance for every 4 to 6 months depending on how often you ride on your bike.. always clean your bike after long ride..

olá. obrigado pelo vídeo. fez ótimo trabalho. bom amigo, por gentileza, se você souber. eu gostaria de saber quantos "mm" tem a passagem da agulha que você usa na seringa? "diâmetro interno".

OK, Bruder, wunderbares Video, Daumen richtig hoch.
