Hello friends! After a two hour flight from Jakarta, I've landed in Malaysian Borneo, in the city of Kuching! This city is also the capital of the Sarawak state. I check in to my waterfront hotel and 'm ready to explore this exciting city. My first stop is the Sarawak River to see it in its mid afternoon glory and enjoy a walk along the Darul Hana Bridge. Come with me on this tour of this awesome riverside area while we take in the views and talk about some facts about the city. One point we discuss is whether Kuching was named after a cat or local fruit? Join the discussion! I hope you enjoy my Kuching, Malaysia vlog. If you have any questions about my Malaysia vlog, please comment below and I will get back to you. Enjoy! #malaysia #kuching #sarawak #borneo #türk

Once again beautiful video, Sam. I enjoy them very much. Well done. May I suggest something, you might want to set your camera lens aperture higher so when you were trying to show and explain everybody what's happening at your background, we wouldn't see some blurry pictures. Cheers mate!

Read about the history of Sarawak. Founded by James Brooke, the English adventurer who became the White Rajah. His story is inspiring and you will find out why Sarawakians like the English. The Brooke family who ruled the state first 100 years until 1945 were well, “family” not colonists.
