  • Dear Bob and Brad, you two alone have done more to help me heal than every doctor I have ever encountered. GOD Bless you both and Thankyou.

I had back surgery in 2019, and I am just at the point now where I can use a walker at home. I just got it today. Thank you for these tips, it's a long road but I am making it back. :-)

I cracked my patella in a fall on Christmas morning. ☹ I can't get an ortho Dr. till Mon AM. ER put a demobilizing splint/brace on it and gave me crutches with no instructions and a neighbor loaned me a walker, so this is so helpful. I also have RA, so I don't want to stress especially my wrists and shoulder joints. Your videos are so informative and user friendly. THANK YOU!
  • Great video. I had 3D Lapiplasty bunion surgery. The hospital sent me home with a walker due to non bearing weight on affected foot. My arms were exhausted after using. Little did I know the walker was too tall for me. I adjusted,as per the video, and what a difference it made. I had to adjust it down three notches! Bob and Brad, as always, great info. Thank you.

Thank You so much 😊 Being a caregiver for my father 88 and bro with cerebral palsy 62 ...😳😄 great information. Oh the story’s 😂🤣😂 sometimes I don’t know weather to laugh or cry 😊👍🏼😇
  • It’s a great video but I think it would be more efficient if you showed someone who actually needed it. I’m an incomplete paraplegicAnd I see this a lot when demonstrating adaptive equipment. You can only show so much from somebody who doesn’t need it at all. Even the way you going to demonstrate weight-bearing on the walker versus not weight-bearing is going to be completely different.

I got a different walker, so I'm back here! Thank you, B and B. Your sessions are always exactly what I need.

The problem is none of these videos have people with actual fractures and cam boots on demonstrating the correct way to use a walker or crutch, it looks too easy here you can’t just slide the good leg forward because of the cam boot (rocker sole heel to toe movement) and the weak injured leg/ankle. You have to sort partial hop the good leg. I wish there was a video with actual injured person using cam boot teaching how to use a walker properly I’m finding it extremely frustrating recovering in a boot from my foot and ankle injuries due to mostly misleading information and videos that don’t represent things accurately
  • I broke my foot and had surgery. First I tried using a walker as I'm dangerous on crutches. By the time I'd hopped down my hallway with the walker I was absolutely exhausted it took so much effort. I ended up getting a kneelie walker
  • @donna5659
Thank you! This was great helpful information once again!! You guys rock!!!
  • Oh my! This is my problem now! I had surgery a week ago on my left femur neck. I fell in my backyard by stepping on on a landscape paver. I have a fracture on my femur neck adjoining the hip bone. I've been home for 5 days, now awaiting home health! The point! I have a hard time with my walker and the non weight bearing walk. Your video has been very helpful. Thank you guys!
  • @omemoonpie3521
This really help me -currently I am using the walker , due to surgery( non weight bearing on my leg). Thank you for your information
  • wow now I know why both shoulders are hurting me, because my walker isn't low enough and wont go any lower, I have femur fracture fixed with plates and screws non weight bearing thanks Chrissie A England united kingdom x
  • @bealynn2258

  • @dancagle2533
Good instructional video.  I like my rollator, the same style my 80+ year old mom had and used quite well until she died.  Fortunately, we had wide doors.
  • Have my final practical exam on Gait Patterns and assistive devices tomorrow. This helps tremendously
