1 Samuel 6:1-12 - What Happens by Chance

Nothing gives me more joy than a better understanding of God's word. Thank you! ❤

God spoke to me through you today, Pastor David. Thank you for being obedient and faithful and opening God's Word to us with your work, preparation and prayer. I asked God to speak through His word and taking your advice and Eli's to Hannah, "speak for your servant in listening' (back in chapter 3) I came to this particular message by God's timing, not "by chance" as I am reading through Samuel with you. I've got a court case coming very shortly and felt unable to cope. BUT you reminded me God is on the throne, He reigns and has everything in control. It doesn't matter about the case preparation, the conflicting opinions, the duration or about the outcome because God is on the throne, ruling and reigning. He has been faithful, and that's been despite everything I've done, so faithful, and whatever happens He will use it for His glory. He can use cows!! I pray that He will use it for His glory. I don't understand the many dark times, but it's for my good, making me into His image and for His Glory. Thank you for explaining again. I just can't wait for heaven. Thank you, Pastor David, for your teaching and speaking God's Word. (This wasn't the first time, many times God has used you to speak to me through His word but was a very significant message as I had cried and sought God in despair.)
