If you failed to solve any problem in this game, it just means you didnt throw enought owlbears at it.

I think this right here is exactly why Larian was the right company to make this game. What makes DND memorable isn’t just the crazy fights, it’s the ridiculous stuff you can do to end (and sometimes start) those fights.

Gale Oppenheimer invented Fat Boy indeed.

Glad to see the "Throw heavy object at it using telekinesis" is still a viable strategy in this game.

All the way back in 2e AD&D, I had a player who played a druid going Turn1: "I shapeshift to a bird and fly over the enemy." Turn 2: "I shapeshift into a whale"

There are some truly ridiculous things you can do in this game, and I love them all!

To be honest, this is straight up old school d&d creativity. If the DM threw crazy monsters at you, you had to get creative in order to beat them. This is akin to the halfling/gnome railgun.

I never considered this until I fought the owlbear and it kept jumping at me. Then the clouds parted, the stars aligned, and I knew then what I had to do.
  • This is the kind of stuff a DM would be sitting in disbelief at while observing their players get away with the most outlandish shit 😂
  • @THEGRUMPTRUCK
"Owlbear from the top rope" is so fucking hilarious to do.
  • @GastNdorf
We used to have chestomancy in DOS1 and 2, now we got chonkermancy?
  • @OLONOODLE
Anytime somebody is discussing the "strongest" build doing "600 dmg per round with fully buffed magic missiles OMG!!!" I'm going to link this video

This game totally sets a new standard.. probably the first story based game ive played in my life where you have limitless freedom and each devision you make results in something totally different showing up on screen
  • @MrMoogle
And this is why every time I lose a fight, I know I'm just not thinking creatively enough, haha.
  • @bitcoinambush
Lol this is hilarious. You actually can talk to the trolls and recruit them to your team too! So many ways to solve what an awesome game! GG!
  • @acem82
This is what the Aussies are talking about when they joke about drop bears.
  • @DJHeroFighter
i played a spore druid and didnt even used wild shape until a fight in act 2 that was very annoying until i jumped on the boss as an owlbear after that the fight was pretty easy 😂

Gotta love Larian games. Divinity: Original Sin where you could kill a dragon by dropping a heavy ass crate on his toe... masterpiece.
