When asked by the Senate Judiciary Committee's counsel Rachel Mitchell whether he drank beer in high school, Brett Kavanaugh said the students -- both male and female -- did drink beer and "sometimes probably had too many beers," including himself.

Kavanaugh said he never blacked out from drinking and the allegation was wrong. He testified that he was not at the gathering that Christine Blasey Ford described at which she was allegedly assaulted, nor was he ever in a room with only her and his friend Mark Judge.

He also was questioned about the copies of his calendar that have been published, saying it was a habit he learned from his father.
