I will never ever buy a single device that is subscription locked so this is a dream. There's been a few devices I was very interested in, but the subscription is an instant NO.
  • @licanueto
for anyone else wondering it's $2100 for the unit without accessories and it goes up to $5022 if you want a pair of them with all the accessories if I had the money to go for something like this I'd definitely support the company without a subscription based model and with openness towards universal accessories (shown by using the simple carabiner). The only disappointing/unforgivable thing is the lack of android support, but hopefully that's actually on its way.

I have a pair and they’re some of my favorite pieces of kit. Unfortunately the cost will likely keep a lot of people away, I know I was hesitant having never used it before but after spending a few months with them I can see the value prop with everything included. Have been using these more than my selectorized lat pull down/adjustable cable column.

"Open the pod bay doors, Hal." "I'm sorry, Coop. I'm afraid I can't do that."

Bought this after watching your video, and used it for the first time today.. It a totally new way to train with the eccentric mode that really gets a great workout. Definitively worth the money.

This machine is perfect for me. I used to be a personal trainer and I want to start doing it again on weekends, traveling to clients homes. This would be soooo much easier than lugging around dumbbells and bands
  • @itselectric6199
Amazing product but its price is insane. If it were less than a 1000 perhaps an argument could be made but 2100 is more than most people's emtire home gyms and more than most independent functional trainers.

1:56 "Sick looks and a really nice package", I thought you were talking about me for a sec 🤣
  • @snilloconator
I don't comment on many videos but this was very informative and the most innovative piece of equipment reviewed for home gym owners. I have already added to the cart for my home gym! TKs Coop
  • @EvanZamir
This is one of the coolest innovations in gym technology in my lifetime.

@11:06 I've tried the ARX half a dozen times until the business that used it went out of business because it is just such an expensive machine. The guy that purchased it has truly become the strongest man I know and having tried it just blew my mind on how it can create that load... I see myself purchasing them just on that recommendation of the similarity to an ARX, but this thing looks like it'll fill so many voids in home gyms or when you're traveling. Thanks for the great content
  • @davidekman5245
Finally a company understand what we need a cable system in a garage gym that can attach to a rack. Great job. I have been waiting for this product in a few years now. I have seen a few simular but they did not do the job. Ancor, vetruvian, maxfit.....and so on👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏❤❤️
  • @EmperorSeneca
wow this looks amazing. definitely top on my wishlist
  • @TheGreektrojan
These are pricey for sure but still are amazing/gamechanging tech. 'Free' content idea: I'd love to see a homegym set up with a pair of these as a core. Outside of traditional deadlifts and maybe squats, 400lbs of resistance from a pair is more than enough for the majority of lifters and for people who don't/can't have a traditional home gym setup with mats/power rack/barbell. The maneuverability of these make them way more versatile than a tonal style set up.
  • @Justin031296
I love the idea, but I REALLY wish it had a dial to select the weight. Analog controls are better in the gym imo.
  • @Geekraver
Very cool. I love my Tonal because it takes up so little space, but if you have a rack, this makes a lot of sense.
  • @explosev6513
So excited for the review! One of the coolest products I have seen in a while and it totally makes sense that engineers from DJI made something like this.
  • @genin69
Ive been waiting for magnetic resistance training devices where you can dial in the weight precisely but this is as close to that as probably safer. awesome tech
  • @thejohnhend
This thing would be perfect for the space station
