What is Your Purpose? - Motivation Video - Unbroken

Published 2022-04-10
We have all spent countless hours, days, weeks, months, and years obsessing over, "WHAT'S MY PURPOSE IN LIFE?".

It's different for everyone, and at times we just want to give up.

I can tell you all that our purpose in life is to live it to the fullest.

Don't spend so much time looking for a purpose, just enjoy the small things right in front of you, right here, right now.

Don't put your life on hold while searching.

AWP is just a small purpose in my own life and I'm so thankful you are a part of it.

The AWP Movement would not be possible without your support, helping us travel the US and offering our services for FREE to families searching for their lost loved ones... Thank you!

There’s alot of things that have made our chapters interesting but in the end I’m 💯 supportive of whatever your decision are and I’m super glad we are friends. I sure hope we finish the book together not only as teammates but as close friends! Thank you for always being my friend! Your family is always in my heart!
  • @depthsofhistory
Amazing livestream from a great guy!! Really appreciate all that you’ve taught me and everything you’ve given me to help jump start my searching. Thank you for sharing your story and for being a great mentor.
  • Jared and your crew- please make sure to talk with grief counselors on a regular basis. You deal with so much death, grief, and stress. It will help. In my prayers.

I’ve watched you for two years now, and shared your dedication and want you to know how much you’re needed. I drowned on the 13th may 1947, in a local river and was resuscitated by a passing man who thought I was a dog in the water. I went on to have a family, and a singing career semi professional for fifty years . I am now 81 years my purpose was to nurture my family, and entertain. All this was not possible without someone caring enough to dive in and and rescue me. I realise you don’t have that opportunity, but to me you’re people of the earth that are so so necessary and in my mind heroes. Keep well and carry on Jared and all at Adventures with Purpose. God bless
  • I believe everyone who watches you and your team can absolutely say “Lean on Me, when your not strong”!
  • Having lived for 81 years, I've learned that my purpose in life is to physically & emotionally care for those who need me. Thank you, Jared & team, for your heart, & for all you do with care.
  • It's not rambling Jared. It's putting your feelings out there and just being yourself. Big hearted ,caring and most of all being an inspiration. Love this video. Thank you. 😇🙏💞
  • "Small acts, When multipled by Millions of people, Can transform the world" author unknown. I ran across this saying and to me it represents the AWP movement. What started out as a group of one or 2 has grown worldwide. And man what a difference it has made.

You should never be embarrassed by having to take some time for yourself to decompress. You're dealing with very serious topics on a daily basis. You truly want to help the people that come into your life.
  • My dad taught me one motto that I have always lived by: Don't live in the past, learn from it; Don't worry about the future, anticipate it; just live in the here and now and do what you can or need to do to make things things better for all, around you.

My "purpose" has been to try to be a good person. That may be a simple as saying "good morning" with a smile to the highly stressed-out store clerk to volunteering for any number of good causes. I also try to "pay it forward" to do good deeds for kindness given to me. My family, friends, community, and country all benefit from even simple acts of caring.

I've learned we're not always meant to know the "why" we go thru things when we're still going thru them. Only later in life do we find out.
  • My purpose is to love God with all my heart and soul and love my neighbour as myself. Which means I cannot ignore the needs of any one who crossed my path.

As a US Veteran who rode Tin Cans on the West Coast and Submarines on the East Coast then the Police Force, please be careful; PTSD will sneak up and bite you: I know I've been there for decades. Best source for help. people who are there. God Bless!
  • Jared, I recently found the AWP channel and I’ve been blown away—not simply with actual recoveries, but with the powerful emotional connection the entire team has with all of us. I’m a 55 year old mother of six and grandmother of one. I share many similar past experiences with you so I’m acutely aware of those feelings/pain. I’ve questioned my own purpose most of my life but depression always stopped me in my tracks. And depression can be comforting. What I see in your videos is evidence of your purpose and your connection that is forged with others is an extension and model of what we, as humans, have lost sight of—stewardship of one another. My own purpose is to not allow my diseased and damaged kidneys to keep me from being a mother and grandmother…to not allow it to beat me into the ground. The past always builds the future and you, my dear, are a powerful individual with an equally powerful future. Stop judging yourself—your weight means absolutely nothing. The people filled with hate are of no concern. That is their future. You, and the amazing AWP team, are walking the walk and teaching all of us what it is to be connected to the world around us. So, continue moving forward. My purpose is to continue moving forward feeling ever grateful for men like you and the team, again, not just for the videos of recoveries. Stay safe. Much love from Georgia.

I've battled severe depression for years. My purpose in life is to keep fighting for my family. You are a fantastic human being. Just know you are so loved by the AWP family
  • @djdezyn8838
It’s heartbreaking knowing there are trolls out there making negative comments to tear down people who are doing good for others. All the comments that I have read have always been good and supportive and I want you to know that you (AWP) are a gift to these people who are hurting, who are wanting and needing to know where their family members are. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they have been in and that they have suffered so much. Don’t stop doing what your doing.
  • @SEMIGRANNIE
Jared, we aren't judging you and those who are, are not worth a moment of your time. You are a good man who started AWP to clean up the waters and that led to where you are today with so many great people that work with you. You have different talents that you've all managed to pull together to help people find their missing loved ones. I don't mind hearing you talk, it's nice that you show your true self even when it's so difficult to do because some are quick to judge but most of us love & care about you & the guys, and your families. Thank you for all that you do! Keep up the great work!
  • @maribelroman
I’m glad that you took some time to be with family. We love seeing you on the adventures, but understand the need to decompress. Thank you for all you do for the families searching for loved ones. As far as weight goes, we all want to be thinner, but there is nothing wrong with a “dad bod.”

#Purpose: I live for the Lord Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit lives inside of me and guides me in what to do for Him. I try to keep my vessel free so He can work through me. He sends me to love the unlovely and to help bring Him into their lives. I also help out at our church warehouse each week. On Tues we open up from 10 - 12 and give out food and I work in our clothing store where everything is free. It is so great to serve people and let them see how Christ loves them so much!
