We all thought that Windows 11 24H2 would come with all the new AI features Microsoft has been talking about. However it loos like if you want to use them you will need a new PC branded with the Copilot Plus PC Sticker and it doesn't matter if you have a system that meats the system requirements.

  • Microsoft just declared war on DIY builders. You will buy what we tell you to buy. You will do what we let you do. And we will watch you doing it! The future is not bright... I refuse to be enslaved to a machine or a company.

This AI crap is becoming creepy as hell, very quickly.

I haven't bought an OEM PC in over 25 years. This won't make me.
  • @mark902
can you imagine if you bought a new pc for windows 11 only to find out a year later that you needed to buy a new computer for windows 11 npu edition?
  • I've been a Microsoft DOS/Windows user since the late 1980s. None of the computers in our household is compatible with Windows 11. It would cost a fortune to replace the 3 PCs and 1 laptop we have. (We're retired) I've started trials of various flavours of Linux in preparation for October 2025...

I absolutely will NEVER trust Microsoft ever again with hardware. I learned my lesson after Windows ARM and WIndows Phone. This is just another project that will be sidelined and retired in two years.

Now they will have hardware spyware - NPU in every PC
  • @FoxWolfWorld
Get ready for every employer to put Windows Recall on their employees computer so they can have AI monitor and analyze their work
  • @edison3571
If I understand this correctly, most corporations run Dell and this monstrosity of an operating system will be baked into corporate computers. Am I the only one who sees how bad this could become?
  • @TorchwoodLeeds
Bring back Windows XP, No nonsense, just simplicity and reliability.
  • @Nik-8it5p
Ms can stick AI , app store , and office where the sun don't shine. I just need to edit music.
  • @maroccana
I'm still on Windows 10, and refuse the win 11 update.... Bye bye Windows, hello Linux Mint! After many years from Windows 3.1 to 10.
  • @niezzayt3809
Next video idea: Take off the Windows 11 AI before you install the Windows itself. And watch that video getting 500K views in 24 hours
  • @holyhelga
The first thing you need to do is uninstall recall

Two things: 1 - A system that literally records EVERYTHING you do, to send it to a database, to literally sell that info online? Holy shit, no. My PERSONAL computer is not so personal anymore. And I know Microsoft, they will do a way to enable that feature on systems that "doesn't support AI" and they WILL keep enabling it without telling you every time you disable it. Frankly, Linux never looked so bright. 2 - Microsoft wants to be Apple. They want to force you on new hardware, they want to force you do use the system the way THEY think you should, etc. Again, I'm already messing around with Linux Mint to try and activate SCrivener, which is the software I use to work, once I'm able to do it on my laptop, my PC will be updated to Linux too. And I doubt I would ever go back to Windows, because it's clear that Microsoft wants to force these on us, a simple example of that is the fact that Windows 10 is losing support next year, but there's no new Windows version, only 11, and the Windows 11 is getting those updates no one asked for. Holy shit.

EU will put a huge speed stop for Microsoft Recall "feature" in Europe. It's not going to be allowed for sure.
