This is one of the most OP things Luke has ever done. Rebuilding a fortress, hiding it, hiding within it. Then, meditating so deeply he has an out-of-body experience. That spreads his consciousness across the Galaxy. This is why, in Crucible, when he wills himself back into existence after becoming one with the Force. Using the power of a Monolith and following Han's voice. I totally bought it. They had long since layed the groundwork.

This is a far better example of an Old Master. Acting out of wisdom, not pettiness. Luke acts out of self-reflection; seemingly to understand himself. Not running away. Not failing and giving up. I don’t think this Luke would have sought to either and die alone. This Luke was seeking something, not trying to die.

"Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely" Great holocron. Was nice to hear Luke's perspective
  • I love star wars but ive honestly not been able to really dive into it as much as id wish due to time availabilities. This video was very informative and enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the effort you put in!

I’m so disappointed that we never got to see Mark Hamill as Grandmaster Luke. All they had to do was pick a story from Legends!! Instead we got what we got.

the main reason i enjoy star wars is becasue the characters go through so much trauma that u can really relate too. like trying to find yourself in a world where people depend of you. its tough. i love the vid keep it up <3

This makes a good deal of sense, he should be aware of what the disastrous effects of a Chosen One gone bad can go.

I was never really a huge star wars fan, but your videos are so fascinating. Makes it a lot more digestible.

I read ALL these old books. I loved the conversations between streen and Luke . Streen wasn’t a particularly powerful Jedi , but he was very wise and fulfilled his destiny in the end.
  • This is why I love Legends Luke Skywalker more than Disney Luke. Grandmaster Luke never gave up on people. Skywalker always saw the good in people and believed no one was beyond redemption. And not just in his father. He multiple times tried to reason with insane Dark Jedi Joruus C'boath. He convinced Mara Jade to not just let go of her hatred for him, but convinced her to marry him. He redeemed many dark siders during his fight against the Sith and the Empire. Even when Jacen Solo fell to the dark side, Luke believed that it was possible for his nephew to be redeemed. Grandmaster Luke was also courageous, willing to fight like hell for friends, family and allies. Similar to how Anakin did his best to protect his troops in the Clone War, Luke Skywalker did not believe in leaving anyone behind. He even went out of his way to rescue Talon Karrde simply cuz Mara Jade asked him to. Luke Skywalker in Legends NEVER gave up. Disney Luke got spooked by dark images in Ben Solo's mind, thought about just killing the boy in his sleep and when he woke up after the temple's destruction, went into exile. Disney did Luke Skywalker dirty.

Luke is a very wise master who knows when to step back and when he is ready he shall retrun.
  • Bane subatomically building and fine tuning his holocrons was a badass level of force use!

Luke suffered the same fear his father did. In short, fearing the loss of those he loved. He once again faced the failure he once did on a cave on Dagoba many years before. The failure of being ruled by fear. As Yoda once advised Anakin, Luke journeyed to his father's residence to train himself to let go of everything he feared to lose. As well as those expectations which came with these responsibilities. Which is why he did not know early in his journey if he would be able to return. In the end, the galaxy survived as did Luke. This realization provided Luke with the wisdom to know he could let go if need be. To choose love over fear. To remain true to the ideals of a Jedi. Primarily selflessness.

Luke is so fucking powerful man. He was the ultimate Jedi and Ultimate Force user.
  • @davidrgilson
This sounds like a lesson in boundary setting - if you dont' set boundaries you get tired and resentful, and if you're uber powered in the force, what could possibly go wrong?
  • @TomMurray-pd5jj
How can one defeat the dark if they don’t effectively understand it?
  • @Gor85
I understand why he felt tired. He feared powers of the Force. He fought the Sith. He suffered Emperor's lighting, fought with Vader. It's great he defeated his fears. And faced his problems. May the Force be with you too😊
  • @Carcerian
Such a better story than the sequel trilogies.
  • @JetcannonM
You can not know the reach of light if you don't understand the depth of dark. Empathy is all encompassing. The force is responsibility.
  • @witteju
love these breakdowns of the skywalkers! so good!
