I cry listening to this song ..my daughter and I were sleeping out of my car for 5 months the car kept breaking down ... Some nights I only had enough money to feed my daughter...I stayed up at night crying because I felt hopeless. I worked my way up from nothing ...now we are in a house and even have a new car... We're not rich but we are doing good.I'm grateful for a place to sleep. I'm grateful we have a place to live and food to eat. I'll never forget what we went through.

I'm a 27 year old recovering drug addict. I've been homeless ( slept under bridges, on trains and buses, sometimes straight up just on the pavement) since I was 14. If I were to name every obstacle I've pushed through and overcome, many would be in disbelief or complete awe. This song here hits me in a way that makes me tear up with self pride and joy. To everyone going through a tough situation, things DON'T GET BETTER, WE DO !! Thank God for giving us another day to live and another day sober. Amen

I’m so grateful for this song and my next chapter. After 2 strong years of homelessness and losing everything and everyone I thought meant waverythig to me….. This song inspires me to complete school n get that dream house, job, car, and family even though I went through a lot losing my dad at 9 to taking his own life then my mom at 17 n also my falling out with lots of family including my sisters I use this song as inspiration to move on and keep pushing cause Ik I’ll come from rags to riches one day if I keep pushing ❤💪🏾🙏🏾

This song is so inspirational and meaninful to me bc the first time i heard this song in august 2020 when it come out, i was busting my ass in a warehouse 8 hrs a day 5 days a week, i was in a dark place mentally and lost my mom 5 months later but i turned nothing into something in the end, i didnt go from rags2riches but im blessed bc im financially stable❤
