Chris Froome wants to participate and win stages without doping in Tour de France 2024, but his start to the season at Tour de Rwanda 2024, where he finished nearly 16 minutes behind winner Joseph Blackmore, does not indicate anything good for Christopher Froome Tour de France 2024. His friend Geraint Thomas has already told him that it is impossible for him to be close to riders like Tadej Pogacar Strade Bianche 2024 , Jonas Vingegaard Tirreno Adriatico 2024 , Remco Evenepoel vs Primoz Roglic Paris Nice 2024 or Tom Pidcock Strade Bianche 2024.

However, Froome is trying to continue to squeeze money out of Israel tycoon , Sylvan Adams, who himself has won more races in the last year than Froome himself. Hilarious.

  • I just don’t understand why you would offer an injured 35 year old a five year contract worth €5m a year with no break clause. Adams only has himself to blame.
  • Anyway Froome is a genius to get 15 millions in 3 years from the team to arrive 100th in tour Ruanda...to me is a genius😂😂

Kudos to Froome for milking that team for all he can get 😂

If my saddle was raised 3 cm, I would have 7 grand tours under my belt.

Age really doesn't matter for Geraint Thomas. In 2013 aged 27 he started for a forth time in the Tour. He finished 140th. Again. But just a few years later the youngster was able to develop his evident talent. Nothing wrong with that, am I right? Those Brits are later bloomers. Froome was 25-26 when he finished 71st and 61st in the Volta a Catalunya. Roman Kreuziger, one year younger than Froome, had two top ten finishes in the TdF at that point. Imagine Tadej Pogačar or Remco Evenepoel finishing 71st... Then there is Sir Bradley Wiggins. He didn't even start in TdF until he was 25. I am sure all of them won everything fair and square.

This is hilarious, Got to applaud Chris Froome. Talked bollox for the last 5 yrs saying he is in great shape and ready to win again, while producing nothing, getting dropped but pocketing millions of pounds. That is amazing

Hahaha! Chris Froomes dancing at the end of the video, is hilarious! Funny that he lived in Kenya for most of life but didn't pick up any dance moves! 😂

It seems highly suspicious that he went from being a donkey, to a prize racehorse at Sky/Ineos, then back to being a donkey again 🫤

Thank you for telling it like it is. He will not even make the roster to go to the Tour and embarrass his Squad anymore.

Froome was one day away from not being allowed to ride the 2018 Giro for his clear-cut 2017 Vuelta doping violation when some mysterious force stepped in. Too bad, Petacchi, you didn't have the right chops. What also pisses me off about Froome is that after the crash he kept saying he would be able to come back and compete for the Tour win again while virtually everyone was saying, no Chris, that crash was too serious, it will be impossible to regain that level. Then finally in 2023 Froome comes out and says, hey guys, the reason I can't get back is that that crash was a lot more serious than you think. Give me a break - it was 180 degrees the other way. He was the one denying it when everyone else was saying it and now he wants to come out and use it as an excuse by claiming that OTHER PEOPLE didn't realize how bad it was? It's only going to get worse for Froome as he gets older - best option is to retire to Kenya and work with the riders there as the you tuber implies.
  • Guys, I personally think Froome is not a bad person, possibly a big hypocrite but not a guy who is going to get off his bike after having piss thrown in his face to teach you a lesson. However, his current situation, as a professional athlete, is what makes us qualify his sporting life (just the sporting one) as pathetic. We would never say that about him as a person.
  • @ccjelley2390
I am going to reduce my saddle height by 3cm in solidarity with Froomy. As you say, not a bad chap.
  • @ucdcrush
Always enjoy hearing you say gran boucle.

Why so much hate? Did he behave like an ahole? Did he lie, cheat or steal? Did he defraud? No, he just isn't riding as well as he and others would like and he still has dreams of winning a stage at the tour de France. Sure, $5M a year is very comfortable and more than most riders make. But wasn't he a superstar before? Maybe since he wants to retire in 2 years and he has a safe contract, he isn't willing to do the level of drug use required to actually win. Maybe he also aged out. Everyone will age out and fade away someday. Is it fair to criticize him for not being able to keep up with the 6.5+W/kg the top riders put out these days? He's not skipping training or skipping races. He seems to be riding and trying.

I predict. That Chris Froome. Will finish the ‘24 Tour de France. Right behind me.
