Masada is an ancient fortress in southern Israel’s Judean Desert near the Dead Sea. It's on a massive plateau overlooking the Dead Sea. A cable car and a long, winding path climb up to the fortifications, built around 30 B.C. Among the ruins are King Herod's Palace, which sprawls over 3 rock terraces, and a Roman-style bathhouse with mosaic floors. Masada was breath taking from all angles. Paddling my feet in the Dead Sea. I wanted to take something back with me ,so I got a handful of salt from the shore of the Dead Sea and placed it in a coca cola bottle and bought it home with me to Australia. The History was captivating and an Honor to experience what was still so alive with Knowledge and the Richness of Time. I thank God for allowing me to walk upon and see with my own eyes what God has preserved , never to be forgotten. God Bless. 🇦🇺🇷🇸☦️

We were there 4 years ago in May the temperature was around 35C a very special place to visit to many people when we visited, they will come back

Was there in 2017 and got a dizzy spell and never made it up from the main entrance😩. My husband did though. This was just fantastic as now I feel like I was there. This is one incredible place and story. Thank you so much for posting this. We both really enjoyed it and appreciate it greatly. Blessings! ❤️🇮🇱🙏🇺🇸
