It's funny, I realized most of the songs I loved as a kid were pretty much all composed by Bacharach. They have the most gorgeous, distinctive sound.

Anyone who went along to this expecting to just hear Burt going through a few of his classics would have had a nice surprise . Musically educated folk though I guess so they probably knew what they were going to get. It's a surprise to me though in 2022 how good this is.

This was with the Edmonton Symphony at the Jubilee Auditorium. What a GEM this is! My Mom was playing in the symphony. She’s playing violin in the 3rd desk closest to the audience. Great close up of her at 27:06,39:30 and 45:46!!! I’m so proud of her! So many familiar faces in the orchestra. Hit after hit! What a fantastic concert. RIP BB!

  • Burt Bacharach was a musical genius, who I consider to be one of the greatest song writers of all time. I was fortunate enough to see him perform live several occasions, an absolute consummate professional. Burt’s music will live on forever. Rest in Peace.
