Macy was ahead of her time in her look and her talent. I’m glad to see the world catching up and showing her the appreciation she deserves. ♥️👸🏾

She Performed "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" At The MTV Icon: Janet Jackson In 2001..... It Low-key Jammed.... She Was Very Eccentric And Bold I Loved Her Back Then....

Macy Gary is a great artist and actress!! Love her voice! Makes my day when she plays in something. She is a beauty! 🥰😍👑
-
She is so underrated her voice is so unique its nobody like her Macy Gray should have more hits
-
Fun fact: Sunshine Anderson was managed by Macy Gray!
-
I saw her at Roseland in NYC right after her first album dropped. that show was INCREDIBLE!! They recorded the whole show and said it would be released on DVD later in the year, but sadly, it never was released. (as far as i know) she had a fantastic back up band and the Black-eyed peas were the opening act. One of the best live shows ever!
-
She's a great actress as well
-
I don't think she knows how beautiful she is. She has a nice voice and it is so different . We love Macy !!!!!
-
She really has had a hard way to go to get where she is today. You have to respect her for continuing to push on. Great voice. God bless you Macy💖💖
-
You failed to mention For colored girls? I know it's a small role but she's a superstar just like all the other women in that movie and even better with her pretty voice. Ive always loved her voice and had the pleasure of owning several copies of her CD's over the years.
-
Very true when you said she was at the top of the charts then came crashing down, but she still kept making music and it is common to have brief success and not be able to repeat it again
-
Macy Grey and Truth Hurts are so underrated.
-
I love raspy, gritty voice, Macy, Amy Winehouse, Bonnie Tyler etc....I wish her well
-
Macy gets more beautiful as she gets older.. very attractive lady
-
I love Macy! She is so eccentric and is always herself no matter what. She led the way for the eccentric black girl in my opinion her and Kelis.

Every now and again I always find myself singing “Someone once told me the grass is much greener…. On the other side….” She had some emotional songs❤️
