Fort Lauderdale - The absolute BEST city in Florida and the entire US. A hidden gem and I wish it stays that way. The one thing going for Fort Lauderdale is that since it is so close to Miami, Fort Lauderdale does NOT get included in the list of best Florida cities [as most list makers think that Fort Lauderdale is a duplicate entry - being so close/suburb of Miami]. That keeps a lot of people AWAY from Fort Lauderdale. And the crowd just goes to MIami LOL. We like it that way. Fort Lauderdale is so much better than Miami without the chaos of Miami.

Was in Fort Lauderdale 2009. Furtunate to have flown over the city by airplane from Toronto then bused into Miami. Wonderful spectacular city Fort Lauderdale FL is.

Nice video. I drive to Fort lauderdale every day for work and I enjoy sightseeing when I'm off. It is a nice place. I find some of the negative comments all laughable; they seem driven more by envy than a real objective assessment.
