Ibapah peak is not a well known peak. It sits in an isolated mountain range called the Deep Creeks on the Utah, Nevada border. Blake has mentioned it from time to time so we decided to roll the dice and head out to ski this remote mountain top. It was a gamble and unfortunately for blake, It was a losing bet. Sometimes during the day it felt like everything but the weather was conspiring against us and a peak that should have taken only a handful of hours, ends up exhausting all our daylight. However, after much frustration and cursing we eventually summited Ibapah, Utah’s 8th most prominent peak. Now excuse me while I go and buy a new pair of skis.

  • I can't understand why Blake is always sick. Eating all those Little Debbie pastries should keep him strong and healthy.
  • I have to leave my house at 3:30am every morning for work. Everyday I ask myself the same question. Who are all these criminals driving at this time of day?
  • @DerekWarnick
That looked rough, but do you know what the real hell is? It is sitting in a office cubicle and watching a video of you guys putting first tracks all over my mountains! :)
  • Criminals driving around at 3:50 am: “Who are these other people driving around at this hour? All mountain climbers, probably.”
  • Please tell me you're selling the Mediocre Amateur hats, because I will gladly shell out my hard money for one and proudly wear it every where. Awesome and entertaining video even if it was miserable. You can't have adventures without the risk of failure or disaster. My two young sons will be happy to see this, they've been asking if y'all have put out a new video. They love to watch them. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Any time I drive past some obscure piece of trash peak I look over to the ridge line and figure there is a 10% chance you are there somewhere puking your guts out. Great work as always!

This activity was very similar to a sport called skiing, though performed at a slower pace and with much less snow. In all seriousness, I enjoyed this video far more than the usual "neck deep, blower pow" movies out there.
  • I've just been randomly selecting from your excellent video library, enjoying them all. Don't know if it's just luck but a pattern has emerged for the one likable fellow: Doesn't sleep, feels sick, bonks. He's like me! I'm rooting for him.
  • The Bliz is back! It still looked like a nice outing together! lol looked fun enough through the tree obstructions! Thanks again for another one!

Oh man I miss Blake, this episode is hilarious.

These videos always inspire me to get out and find adventure, even when it means embracing the suck to the fullest degree. Better than being at work, or sitting on my bum watching other people do cool stuff on YouTube... wait a minute...

Blake! So glad to see you having Danny's back. Or the other way around. Old folks must live the active life through you two because you are the ultimate in adventures. Love having you be the guinea pigs for any potentially dangerous activity.

lol damn. rough day great scenery though ty! and BLAKE great to see you again!!!
  • @paghal11
I suppressed my out loud laughter until the moment you showed us a brief glimpse of your ski bases. At that point, I lost my shit altogether.
  • @comekkck1473
Thanks dudes! Living my life vicariously through your channel. Someday perhaps I'll have money and friends with money to do some of this. Right now I'll just settle for some friends. 😆
  • @mikaila2621
Haha or they are people that work at coffee shops. But getting up that early is criminal. Love your channel!!
  • @gideonboth8284
I did this hike in the summer and it was super difficult I loved the scenery. Glad to see other people suffering and enjoying what I have done before
  • @BMCBryce
That was so stupid and so rad at the same time. Happy to see the Blizz again. Also, I too would purchase a Mediocre Amateur hat or T-shirt. Let me know (if) when they become available. Keep it up boys.

Funny dudes...fun to watch. I once drove out to Ibapah myself with a friend to just check it out for potentially hunting for deer. Fun to see you tackle it...we left and decided to hunt elsewhere.
