When Roborock released the Q Revo in 2023 it quickly became one of Roborock's best selling models with most of the features of the bigger S series at a fraction of the price. Now Roborock is offering 2 additional models the Q Revo MaxV & Q Revo Pro which are both upgraded models with more features and in this video I will highlight the differences between them compared to the original Q Revo.

I love your reviews. Very fair to the different robots. What I am excited "potential" about is the one you can hook up to your plumbing so you don't need to worry about the size of the tanks. I have chatted with Roborock around 4 times and each rep has said there will be an option to connect to you plumbing. Now the wait is on!

And I bought the "old" Q-Revo just a few weeks ago.. Damn it! 😂 Love your videos btw!

I would love a comparison between the original Q Revo and the new MaxV to see if the object avoidance is a good bit better or only slightly better. Also to see if it cleans much better than the original. It has higher suction power but that doesn't always translate into a much better pick up. It will be better at mopping close to walls obviously but see if the smaller tanks in the MaxV could be a problem. If it could do the same space as the original. Love your content.
  • Thanks Jamie for the update! I had heard about the Q Revo MaxV and it looked perfect, but I didn't know about the smaller tanks... That's a big downside. I hope you'll be able to test how many cleaning cycles the MaxV/Pro will be able to do compared to the classic Q Revo

Bought a Roborock Q Revo six months ago and loved it so much, so I bought another one for my parents two months ago. Very impressed with the "FlexiArm'' Mop of the Q Revo MaxV, considering buying one when it‘s available.

I also just bought a Q revo 4 days ago. I am only just hearing about these new models... But when I bought they were cheaper and now theyve gone up in price for the normal q revo so no complaints from me :D. . Love my Q revo.

I just got the current model q revo. It does go over cables and even almost got tangled and stuck once, but it's actually fairly decent with obstacles even without having a camera and doesn't constantly bump into everything like older robots used to. I'm generally satisfied with it so far, hopefully it will maintain performance with minimal upkeep over the next few years (if not even gain software functionality). It's expensive but compared to flagship models it's affordable, it's mostly quiet, it mostly works in a systematic pattern and where it does clean it cleans as well as I can expect a vacbot to clean (at least compared to its current competition). I did notice some long hairs tangled on its brush once but the roller seems to be fine. Since it doesn't have the edge wiggle function I think the extension of the mop could be the most meaningful upgrade, the rest are negligible to me. I hope they stop being butt hurt and enable the wiggle function like they did in the equivalent Chinese model. Raising the brush could help its longevity (but is also another complicated mechanism that could fail), raising the the mops an extra 3 mm isn't much but welcomed anyway. Edit: it does get stuck on cables sometimes. It also grabbed and carried a floor rag and tried to go into the base with it. And even though there's an option in the map to indicate where there's a mirror that goes all the way down to the floor which does slightly help, it still makes mistakes in the map and there's no way to manually change it. At least it doesn't try to go through it. Even with these issues I'm still satisfied, at least I didn't pay double for the flagship models and it cleans great.
  • Best vaccum review channel, thanks for your efforts! Do you know when you will get your hands on / review these models? I have a pre-order coupon to use on or before Mar. 31 for Dreame X30 Ultra and would like to make a decision by then between Q Revo MaxV and X30 Ultra.

I have a small room 20 sqm do u think revo pro and max v will make such a different?
  • @nikenputri2874
In your opinion, Dreame 10s Pro Ultra Heat or Q Revo Maxv is better? I'm confused about which one to buy with almost the same price and function
  • @oZiiix
The Q Revo MaxV look really good. I just bought a Samsung Jetbot AI+ but i can still return it. I know Samsung has a Jetbot Combo they're announcing at CES too. I thought i didnt want a mop function but now i do 😅
  • @petitbarzun
Looking forward to your review Jamie. Hopefully you can also do a comparison with the new S8 MaxV Ultra. It seems to have some more objects it detects, a different mopping system, autocleaning of the base itself and optionally direct plumming. Not sure if these are worth the extra cost.
  • @MrBlueCreeper
My family is planning to get an all-in-one robot on black Friday, and I think the Q Revo MaxV is going to be the robot we get, because of the generous $1199 price tag (which is gonna be even lower on sale!). But who knows, maybe they will swing for the crazy expensive $1799 Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra... if it goes on sale for a HUGE discount.
  • @stevev1008
Can you compare Q Revo V with the Eufy X10.
  • @mstiic
Thanks Jamie! Can you also make a video for the new S8 MaxV Ultra series?🙏🏻🙏🏻
  • Does the base able to detatch the mopping pads via magnet like the latest Dreme bot?
  • @Allaiya.
1k and $1200? Wonder if the normal Revo will go on sale in April then. The better obstacle avoidance, flexiArm, & higher lift is the only thing I personally would like, but I am not sure these upgrades are worth the extra cost.
