I did a montage of the video "Bad Apple!!" to go with the full version. The song is sang by Nomico and made by Alstroemeria Records.

At some places, it's not lag. It's just the video that is slow down.

==How to see the subtitles (updated on July 3rd, 2020)==
Those who are not familiar with the YouTube Captions, you just have to press the settings button and go to "Subtitles/CC", it will give you those options:
- "English - Translation in English" - Turn on the English Captions
- "Japanese - Romaji" - Turn on the Romaji Captions
- Off
I hope that was helpful. :)

==Various Description Edits==
Edit 28-12-2012: 1,000,000 views to end the year! I never thought that the video will actually have a million views. Thanks everyone! :)

Edit 13-11-2013: Wow, 2,000,000 views! That's so incredible!!! :D

Edit 27-03-2018: Anyone mentioning "Undertale" in the comments gets filtered.

Edit 03-07-2020: 27 million views. Wow. I still can't believe an edit of the original Bad Apple!! video that I made when I was 15 years old got this many views.

Someone once said: You know you have a good designs if you can recognize characters just by their silhouettes.

For those confused about the laggy parts let me clear it up, so this is the full bad apple, the video is the short version with some sections slowed down. There does exist an official animation for the full version seen at an official concert, but it is considered lost media and the closest you'll find to it is fan-recreations.

Why some of the Japanese music have depressing lycrics but has a funky beat, Japanese music composers/makers really know what they do, amazing.

I like how the song is about depression and yet we still vibe to the funky music

I feel guilty listening to this so many times but not playing the games

There are two laws of the internet: - If it has a screen, it can play DOOM, if it can play DOOM, it has a screen. - If it has two contrasting colours, Bad Apple shall be played on it.
  • This song (in my interpretation, not the actual meaning.) is about the effects of childhood trauma. Unfortunately, society reduces it to “depression, anxiety” which they aren’t wrong! But it’s so much more than that. It describes depersonalization/derealization, the antisocial behaviors, the fear of whether or not you’ll actually change. The constant identity and existential crises, The apathy, negative internalized messages, all trauma responses. I’m surprised no one has commented on that at all. Also, I don’t even feel sad for the singer, not that it’s sad that they went through possibly very terrible events, but I feel empathy, I know what they went through so I can’t even feel sad. I can only laugh in my head and say “mood”. The song glitches I think are periods of internal conflict. Because survivors of trauma have such harsh inner voices, these are very loud voices which cause the sufferer to try to shut them out, which only makes them louder. I used to think this was the meaning but obviously the actual meaning of the song is different it’s only an interpretation that I found interesting.

  • Lyrics: Ever on and on I continue circling With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing And suddenly I see that I can't break free— I'm Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony To tell me who I am, who I was Uncertainty enveloping my mind Till I can't break free And Maybe it's a dream; maybe nothing else is real But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel So I'm tired of all the pain, all the misery inside And I wish that I could live feeling nothing but the night You can tell me what to say; you can tell me where to go But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know If I make another move there'll be no more turning back Because everything will change and it all will fade to black Will tomorrow ever come? Will I make it through the night? Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light? Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay, or should I go? I've forgotten how to tell. Did I ever even know? Can I take another step? I've done everything I can All the people that I see I will never understand If I find a way to change, if I step into the light Then I'll never be the same and it all will fade to white Ever on and on I continue circling With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing And suddenly I see that I can't break free— I'm Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony To tell me who I am, who I was Uncertainty enveloping my mind Till I can't break free And Maybe it's a dream; maybe nothing else is real But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel So I'm tired of all the pain, all the misery inside And I wish that I could live feeling nothing but the night You can tell me what to say; you can tell me where to go But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know If I make another move there'll be no more turning back Because everything will change and it all will fade to black If I make another move, if I take another step Then it all would fall apart. There'd be nothing of me left If I'm crying in the wind, if I'm crying in the night Will there ever be a way? Will my heart return to white? Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am? I've forgotten how too see; I've forgotten if I can If I opened up my eyes there'd be no more going back 'Cause I'd throw it all away and it all would fade to black

Fun Fact: In Latin, the word for bad and apple are both "malum"
  • all my life i thought this was a vocaloid song iTS FROM A FUCKING GAME
  • imagine you're the Russian radioman and someone hijacked the system and played this banger
  • I never even once played the game but still see this song as a big part of my childhood. I used to listen to it a lot in my younger days but occasionally do it now just to reminisce on old times.

This has got to be one of the most creative animations I've ever seen.

This whole video in a nutshell: This is some fire music. Woah that girl is holding a- girl. Oh, but that girl she has- ope its another girl...
  • @bucko0627
Gotta shoutout the original composers for using Massive for the main bass. gotta be one of the best synthesizers i’ve ever used.
  • bad apple is literally the definition of "don't let them know you're next move"
