Over the garden makes you feel like you can't decide if you are in a dream or nightmare. The eeriness of the unknown combined with the coziness of early america vibe creates make something really special. I love this show so much, every fall I think about over the garden wall

Over the Garden Wall gives me a feeling I can't describe. It's just so damn nice and cozy.

I always love the subversion of character tropes in this show. Instead of playing into the mean, shallow stereotypes, Over The Garden Wall portrays all the town kids as mostly wholesome, awkward, and well meaning. But in a genuine sort of way. Especially at the party and the cemetery, when they were so nice to Greg. I appreciate that very much.

I’m saving this for Autumn because I KNOW it will be incredibly immaculate
  • The ghostly but calm feeling that the traditional American fall gives is such a unique feeling. One of somberness but also full of comfort.

For anyone searching, the song at 26:47 is called "A place to wait out this rain". It's hard to find because they didn't put this song in the official album.
  • Ever since this show came out, it became a tradition to watch it every fall season either starting on first day of November or Thanksgiving brake
  • I’m listening to this in May. And it’s raining. There’s something about this show that is so comfortable, but also a little eerie. It’s like exploring the woods with your friend in the fall.

I’m so glad I came across this, it’s lovely! Really sets an autumnal mood
  • That exact shot of the guy with the pumpkin head looking at the landscape is MY FAVORITE of the whole series <3

Anyone else listening to this in April? Honestly I don’t even care that I’m listening to this out of season. Over The Garden Wall is such a good show.

there's an odd sensation about Over The Garden Wall's music. Although I've never seen the show yet, there's still a sense of familiarity to it. Aside from the nostalgia, it just emits that feeling of dread yet blissful acceptance of death, inching closer like someone you know very well, but at the same time someone you've never met before. edit: Just finished watching and its absolutely amazing XD

Watched Over the Garden Wall in an airport waiting for my flight home after a year of college. It holds a really special place in my heart as I was so anxious to get back home finally.

This would be amazing for sleep with some bedtime stories on top of it. Like maybe some fall themed ones with a deep voiced narrator
  • There is an incredibly subtle, quiet piano key being hit in the background every second and it's been driving me crazy since I discovered it.

I've made it a habit to watch Over the Garden Wall every October. It's become a cherished tradition for me. Such cozy autumn feelings.
  • A Cider mill, a corn maze, pumpkin piles, turning leaves, and the realization that not everything can last forever, this is Over the Garden Wall to me

Bro really said "Dancing in a swirl of golden memories, the loveliest lies of all"😔

to anyone wondering what the noise in the background is, I think its vinyl crackling sound effects mixed with rain or something. I think it's there to add an "old timey" affect, or its probably there for aesthetic.
