5 years without losing… and now she’s eliminated early in the tournament…
  • Ooh I totally felt her pain and also cried, though of course applause and credit to Uzbek participant, for her win and also for her silent joy, I think she felt her pain too and did not demonstrate her joy

Wow what an emotion..I understand her as my daughter was competing in her sports and everyone thought she was going to win the event, but she did not. She cried like his girl did because she was embarrased in front if everyone, her family, her coach, the audience and her friends.. It really hurt if you lose in the early rounds while everyone expects you to win. I am sure she will learn from.this lost and win the next Olympics. At least my daughter learned from it and she won the Championship in the next tournament.🎉.Stay confident in every thing you do in life even after a lost.

This is (competition) sports: even the best loose sometimes, sometimes even in the most important moment…
  • My respects for this fighter, her pain it s an example of what it means hard work in life.

So deeply sad. A real grief comes from the button of her soul. Crying with her.

    бедняжка, как захотелось ее обнять....
  • Tough to be always at the top and then to see it taken away so quickly 💥.. congratulations to the winner a big scalp to take . This Olympics is just brilliant 💯👏

When I was a kid, around 5th grade, I started going to various sports or chess competitions. I did win some first places but I mostly lost, sometimes was even the last one. I used to cry, as well. The more I kept loosing, the more I got used to it. This thought me that no matter how good you are, never underestimate your opponents. Give the best you can but always be prepared to loose. Growing into adulthud, this teaches you humility because greed and overexpectations fog your mind, sending you into failures. I don't know why she cried, it could've been stress, overexpecations or this is what she does every time she looses. After all, crying is healthy, it discharges your body of too much emotion.

I don't even have context for this, but that was emotional and crushing to watch. 🥺 Thank you to all the fans who applauded and supported her until the end. This reminded me of Derek Reymond in Barcelona 92. Those moments of humanity.
  • What kind of behaviour is that? I understand being upset, but that's just not on. She's taking the attention away from the winner.

Am I the only one thinking she made an embarrassing situation even more humiliating?

It's sport and their is one thin line between win and loose. So an athlete should keep it in mind and be ready also mentally. You can understand her, but her cry is traumatic.
