I like how despite being a 12 minute video she's not wasting time talking nonsense. She's straight to the point. I love that.

Yes! Castor oil has helped both my hair and my eyelashes. On my hair and scalp sometimes I mix with sweet almond or coconut oil because castor oil is so thick and sticky. Also, I have used diluted apple cider vinegar to rinse the oil away prior to shampooing. Just an idea that works for me!
  • @discosucks69
It definitely made a difference! Thanks for spending so much of your free time to do this experiment for us. I’m going to share this video with my friend who has thinning hair.

I've been using castor oil for a few years, first on its own on my bald spots and now as a hair mask (castor oil+vitamin E+aloe vera gel). I've always had fine hair and not much of it but this helped me a lot. I also got rid of regular shampoos and switched to natural products. Currently, I use Indian hair powders and I feel it's really good for my hair/scalp.

I mixed castor oil with 2 tablespoons aloevera gel ,makes my hair more voluminous ,thicker and smoother 😊
  • @Nora.Frank.
I can see the difference. Your hair looks much healthier! Very interesting experiment :)

bruh this comment section saved me, never using head and shoulders again! thank you guyyyssss <33
  • As per Ayurveda, we use in our family Castor oil will be used during warm months and Coconut Oil in Cool months. We soak fenugreek seeds overnight and blend it next morning and apply it as a hair pack. We never use hair shampoos instead of that we wash our hair with Soapnuts(3) soaked overnight in a mug, just squeeze it you will see lather (natural shampoo). Finally, dry the wet hair with smoke coming from Sambrani incense (Benzoin Resin) in a Sambrani holder. That is why Indian women never experience any hair problems even in their old age.

Stop using head shoulders thats the problem Edit: would recommend Neutral Shampoo is with 0% perfume, 0% colouring, 0% parabens and pH skin neutral.

I don't know about hair, but I do know from own experience and also from my friend's experience that if you put castor oil on your eyelashes ( with clean mascara brush) every single evening before bed and leave it on, in around 1 month time your eyelashes will become really long and beautiful and will look like false eyelashes, as they will be so long.

Hair only grows about 1/2 inch per month for the average person so if it grew a whole inch that’s incredible growth! It looks much fuller and with more volume.

Hey girly! Make sure you’re wrapping your hair at night with a silk or satin scarf/bonnet or use a silk or satin pillow case if you don’t wanna do the whole scarf thing. If you choose a bonnet, flip it inside out so that your hair especially the hair line doesn’t get caught up in the elastic. I say scarf or bonnet cos it will keep all of the oil from getting on your face and everywhere else you don’t want it, and protect your tresses regardless of your hair texture. Ditch the head and shoulders shampoo that shampoo Destroyed my hair and find something more gentle. Aussie Moist is good and Creme of Nature and won’t break the bank. Garnier Fructis has good shampoos and conditioners too they won’t strip your hair. JBCO is a good oil but if you find it too heavy you can add something like Avocado oil which is also good for hair. If you haven’t already get your vitamin levels check especially for vitamin d and iron. You can also try things like MSM powder with vitamin c. MSM tends to thicken up hair in some ppl at least that’s been the experience I’ve had and my hair was very thin especially hairline. If you go the MSM route, start off slow and then build up to the max dosage to see how and if your body reacts. Have to get the inside right to get the maximum results on the outside. Helped me out a ton! I had traction alopecia from wearing extensions and lace fronts glued down for years and I gained back most of my edges/hairline. I know our hair textures are different, but some things cross over when it comes to hair care. There are probably many things from the natural hair community that you can try and it just might work. We’re sisters no matter what our ethnicity is and we can grow and learn from one another. Happy Hair journey sister ❤️

I always had thin hair and lacked eyebrows, but taking omega3 really helped me. After 2 months of taking it my eyebrows filled in and I started getting baby hair on my forhead line where I never had baby hair. I really reccommend it
  • @e.michelle2424
Most people grow a quarter of an inch in a month. An entire inch is very encouraging. This would be a great idea for someone growing out a bad haircut or bangs.
  • @Anonymous-qj4wp
I sleep really late like average 4am for a whole year, and now I have intense hair loss and I’m crying😭😭I’m used to being praised by having thick and shiny hair but now it’s just thin and grassy hair😭😭SLEEP EARLY LADIES!!
  • @sal-22
Thank you so much for being so thorough and raw in your experiment and experience! I've experienced hair loss and have been looking for the most effective way to grow thicker hair.
  • I mix Indian sesame oil and some essential oils - lavender, rose geranium, peppermint, tea tree, lime, orange, grapefruit, clary sage etc and use it approx once a week. With a stressful divorce and move to the other side of the country over the last 10 years my hair went grey and then thinned left & right. The grey and thinning recovered on the right and now the oil mix is fixing the very thin spot on the left. : ) Stick with it.
  • I think your hair definitely looks bouncier, has more body to it after the castor oil experiment. I agree with what everybody else is saying about head and shoulders shampoo. I researched it a long time ago and all I remember is that it's kind of brutal on the hair and scalp. I've been using castor oil on my eyelashes for about two months and I honestly can't tell any difference. I haven't wanted to use on my scalp because I don't really want to wash my hair anymore than every two days but after watching this video, I may start applying it once or twice a week. Thanks for sharing your experience! 👍🏼😄
  • @lp9361
I really think it looks thicker and the comfort sounds amazing
