What I loved about the classic Paper Mario from both the 64 and GameCube is how they made different friendly characters from the Mario creatures like the Goombas and the Koopa Troopas and Boos and many more showing that not all of them are evil and work for Bowser and that we can see both male and female versions of these creatures

If Nintendo whips out the M&L: Partners in Time remake next direct to complete the trifecta, I will die instantly.

The fact they designed a brand new UNIQUE toad JUST for the remake, when they didn't even need to, is proof they're listening to fans thinking about future instalments into the series

I feel like they could do luigis' marvelous compass story from ttyd and add the classic paper mario rpg mechanics to that. That'd be fun 😅

I've been playing the TTYD remake, and it's so good. Goombella, Vivian, Kammy Koopa, and all the others. I have really missed them. Among all of them, I find it kinda weird that not even Kammy was kept around as Bowser's minion/adviser. She's amazing. So yeah, I hope they go back to making unique designs for partners and characters, and come up with new species like the Punies, and Twilighters. But most of all, just... make the writing charming, and witty again. Give it some proper story and personality.

What is funny is that they don't have to make a new game with every character being new. Look at M&L, they created Fawful or Starlow and they appeared again in future games. Same could happen in Paper Mario... like, why can't Goombella be part of the cast on a new game? That way they can keep that variety on design and don't have to create as many characters

i was someone who loved the newer style paper mario games and was an avid defender especially origami king, but it wasn’t until i actually played ttyd that i realized WOAH. this is WAAAY better than origami king and it isn’t even close, it’s literally night and day. i feel dumb supporting nintendos decision of changing the formula now, it’s seriously not even comparable 😂

Can't wait to see the full sale numbers for ttyd. It will definitely determine if doing remakes for rpg and ttyd was a good idea before the next row of projects begin.

I love the Bob-omb character in Origami King. I know it was just a basic design but he was endearing. I hated the combat in Origami King though.

That's the best thing about Paper Mario is that it's NOT a typical Mario game. Where those will always have a basic story and basic characters, Paper Mario should be more about expanding on that. The idea that Paper Mario takes place in a story book works because it tells an intriguing story.

I want a Straight up Remake of PM 64 on Switch 2 with the improvements from TTYD added to it such as Updated Badges and Higher Level Cap. Examples for Badges being the W and L Emblems.
