I think though that a big reason for it is because I was already familiar with the tune and thanks to that I had less to digest than per usual and so my brain assimilated the song more easily?
I also was worried the super well known sample would somehow overpower the song in itself since it is so well known but I am relieved to see that the song was super well balanced and that the verses and especially the rap had their own flavour which made them equally as impactful as the chorus itself.
And while the MV isn't my favorite aesthetic wise I absolutely love how, here again, we get to see the members individually and by giving them one color each, they stand out all equally too!
To sum up, I have become obsessed with this comeback!
Also I just noticed but the whole IVE spelled backwards in the lyrics !!! Freaking genius!

This was the BIGGEST SLAY THIS YEAR!!! Wonyoung and leeseo surprisingly ate this up and made it their era I need more kpop to have 70s strings like this the “I will survive” sample was so well used and perfect I just wish it was ducking longer 😭😭😭 (also the firework scene screamed budget and was gorgeous)

This group knows how to make songs different than most others but still sound great, they are never out of place. Well those close ups on Yujin takes my breath away. Who really thought of putting Tokyo drift stuff in there 😅😅

You need to hear "MY SATISFACTION" THAT SONG IS ONE OF THE BEST BSIDES IVE EVER LISTENED TO. its so title track worthy too but i can understand why after like was the title track.

Liz deserved better.. like she could’ve atleast got the chorus- but overall Rei slayed for me in this MV and the song overall is pretty good I love the theme, the chorus, and choreography. Well done IVE 😻🥰🫶🏻🫰🏻
