As I've promised, here are my top 5 favorite gaming franchises of all time! I hope you enjoy! And if there is anything you think I could've added or elaborated on more, then let me know too!

Also, the pics I've borrowed off of Google automatically fall under fair use! So, please don't false flag this for copyright infringement because I don't want that kind of trouble anymore!

In addition, this video is NOT for kids as it contains brief language!

Links to the songs I was about to use but canned them due to copyright reasons:
1.    • Frogger: He's Back! Music: Credits
2.    • Yoshi's Story: Theme
3.    • Yoshi's Story Music Baby Bowser's Lul...

My next video will be put on hold for a while because I need another break due to upcoming doctor's appointments and other things I need to do in real life. But I promise I will be back again soon!!!

  • Oooh boy, do I remember having quite a contact with vídeo games when I was younger. Not necessarily by playing but hearing about them.
  • That is a really nice list of video games. I am more of a mobile game person. However, there were a few instances where I tried to play video games such as Mario Karts when my brothers and I played them at our cousin's house.
  • Some of my favourite gaming franchises are the Disney Infinity series (because of its awesome gameplay and unique gameplay and character roster). I also love the Mario gaming franchise. Particularly regarding the 2D and 3D platforming games (because of their unique level designs and great music), and the Mario Kart series mainly because of most of its stellar track roster such as Coconut Mall (my favorite track in the series btw), Waluigi Pinball, Airship Fortress, DK Mountain and many others.

  • Here are three of my most favorite game franchises in general. And I'll be putting them on a list that I MIGHT do on my YouTube channel. These include My Singing Monsters by Big Blue Bubble, Five Nights at Freddy's by Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool Studios, and Angry Birds Rovio and SEGA.

My favorite video games are Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokémon, Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, and Pac Man.
  • Sonic would probably be my favourite video game franchise, which may seem a bit weird since I've not played that many, but I have seen a lot of the cutscenes on YouTube. And I have to absolutely agree about Sonic Boom! That has to be my favourite Sonic TV show because I love how hilarious it can be. I'm not surprised that Roger Craig Smith and Colleen O'Shaughnessey have said that it's been their favourite thing they've done for the franchise. Great list too btw.

10:13 I bet you'll never be unable to unsee the eyes balls in this logo. In my opinion, I think that Twisted Metal would be a good Game to put on here, Especially the PS2 version.
  • I’ve always been a fan of: 5: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Lego Marvel Superheroes 3: Super Mario Bros 2: Pokémon Honorable Mention: Minecraft(I’m not sure if it counts as a series, but It’s my favorite game, so I thought I’d mention it) 1: Super Smash Brothers.

A pretty good list. Some of my favorite game franchises include the Super Mario games (both the main series and the spin-offs such as the Kart, Paper and Party series, as well as Luigi's Mansion, Princess Peach: Showtime!, WarioWare, etc.), Crash Bandicoot, and Sly Cooper. In fact, I even got myself a PS3 a while back just so I'd be able to play all 4 of the main Sly Cooper games (the first 3 via the Sly Collection ). Also, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is one of my all-time favorite kart racing games mainly due to all the additional content in the game, especially when they held the Grand Prix's between 2019 and 2020.
  • My favorite Videogame Franchises are LEGO Games,Thomas And Friends PC Games,Sonic The Hedgehog Games and Dinosaur Games
  • @missmanxee
My top five favorite video game franchises l grew up with are Kingdom Hearts as I loved visiting the many worlds from the films and interacting with the many Disney characters and Sonic the Hedgehog as I preferred this than Mario also Lara Croft Tomb raider, Rayman and Pokémon on the classic Gameboy console thanks Trevor for sharing this video on your top five video game franchises 👍❤️
  • @sebasllaura7254
Have you heard of the Banjo-Kazooie games? That franchise needs to come back for the modern generation, especially since the main characters are in the new Smash Bros!
  • @nanimator6413
Nice list Trevor. For me, the video games I like during my childhood are the Mario games in general, Call of Duty Modern Warfare games, and the Batman Arkham series franchise (Asylum, City, Origins, and Knight). And I'm still mad at Warner Bros and Rocksteady for messing up my childhood. I also hope Inside Out 2 is as good as the first movie. Including the rest of the Disney and Pixar sequels. Especially Moana 2, Zootopia 2, and Frozen 3.

You know something, after hearing some of your favorite games, I was surprised I’m not the only one who knows about Spyro, Crash Bandicoot and even Kingdom Hearts. While Kingdom Hearts is primarily my most favorite crossover and RPG games of all, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and Mario are some of my favorite 3D Platformer games, but my most favorite Crash games were Titans (2007), Mind Over Mutant (2008), and It’s About Time (2020) along with N Sane Trilogy (2017), while the other half for Spyro, Reignited Trilogy (2018), and Eternal Night (2007), and last but least for Mario, but 3D games, 64 (1996) along with the remastered version for DS from 2004, Odyssey (2017), Galaxy 1 and 2 (2007/2010), and alongside Sunshine (2002). For Kingdom Hearts, I mainly play 3, partially because it includes newer worlds of Disney, and Pixar worlds and one element which is Remy from Ratatouille, who he’s called ‘Little Chef’, and it uses the game engine I was fascinated with, which is Unreal Engine (the game engine Epic Games created from scratch), and we do have the fourth of Kingdom Hearts currently in development at Square Enix, but it is said that it’s been leaked for a 2026 release, which might take about 2 years, but let’s all give them some time to work things out and polish if anything goes wrong. And while I’m hopeful it would add some new Disney worlds from the newer movies from the mid-2010s to the early-2020s, but a bit skeptical about Marvel and Star Wars worlds since Disney owns Marvel and Lucasfilm, but not sure if they’re worthy to be an improvement over it’s predecessors but just hope Disney doesn’t mess them up while working with Square Enix. Kingdom Hearts has always been my influence in creating a spiritual successor to it with DreamWorks Animation and Capcom elements while also using the same gameplay mechanics similar and the genre as an action-RPG.
