Michael Eric Dyson stating that you should protest without demonizing the other side is pretty rich. Anybody else see his debate with Jordan Peterson, where the best he could do was to call him a "mean white man"?

I really appreciated the thoughtful and respectful exchange between Michael Eric Dyson and Bill Maher on this topic. I think in some ways they were talking past one another, as Dyson is calling for a moral paradigm where Palestinian and Israeli lives are equally valued while Maher is questioning the realism of that paradigm in light of the threat of Hamas (which values neither Israeli nor Palestinian lives) which needs to be eradicated and can’t be without civilian casualties. This kind of exchange is one we need more of on tv, where most media is either reflexively anti-Israel or pro-Israel without asking the deeper questions these two do here.

"What war did we ever have, where they were only killing the soldiers?" ~ Bill Maher That one comment stood out to me. Was there ever a better condemnation of the whole idea of 'war'?

Protesters need to be accountable, and proud of what they are protesting, NOT concealing their identity behind a face mask/scarf. If you don't want to be seen and identified for what you believe in, stay home.

Michael Eric Dyson has a distinct skill in saying a lot of words without saying anything at all.

Finally! It's been months since anyone has been on this show to dispute Maher's snark (and smacking mouth) regarding any Israel/Gaza topic (history, apartheid, war crimes, protests, strategy, solution...). It's as tho there's been a vetting of anyone touching Maher's third rail here- to include the audience. Thank you to the decent folks who got Dyson onto this stage! Many MANY Thanks to Dr Dyson!

How can a Judge do its job if it has political affiliations? They shouldn't be allowed to vote.
