Wow, wow and wow! Two director's that you mentioned that I absolutely love is The Coen Brothers, Raising Arizona made me fall in love with them and Nick Cage and they have a ton of other great what I call original Independent movies, and Daren Arrnofsky. If you havent seen Pie 3.14 or the one with the lead singer from 30 seconds to Mars, they are dynOmite! I expected your list to be a lot of horror movies, but it was an excellent list! Im 53 and I remember being in the theater to see Rocky when it came out as well as Platoon and Star Wars.
  • I was hoping you'd do a video like this, great video, we have a lot of the same favorite movies. Also it's always great to see The Wrestler get some love, I feel like we don't talk about it enough, fantastic movie.

Alot of great movies in your favourite 25 movies list. I've never seen No Country for Old Men. There are so many great movies that it would be hard for me to pick my favourite 25. Some movies I would class as all time favourites are Point Break (1991), The Dark Knight, Jaws, Poltergeist, Sleepy Hollow, Jason and The Argonauts, The Thing (1982), Breakdown, Flight of the Navigator, Robocop (1987), the first 2 Alien movies, Heathers, Twins, The Outsiders, Firestarter (1984), Carrie (1976) and Christine. That's just some of my all time favourites. I also think American Pie 2, Predator 2 and Ace Ventura When Nature Calls, are underrated sequels.
  • Good video! James! I like your top 25 movies of all time, from your DVD collection. I have never seen that Buffalo 66 movie, I will have to check it our! I have never seen your Number 1 movie: Wet Hot American Summer either!

Lots of good picks. Mallrats and The Wizard are two of my all time favorites as well. And Ace Ventura is my favorite Jim Carrey movie, I have to stop and watch it every time I see it as Im clicking through the channels.

We share a lot of the same films; you have great taste!!! One of my favorite "top movie" videos.
  • I love stand by me and breakfast club. American movie always reminds me of my buddy Kris who introduced me to it

My dude... you not only mention Earnest Goes to Camp on this list, but having Wet Hot American Summer as your #1 is amazing. I just watched this on a newly acquired VHS this weekend and my God, I couldn't stop laughing nearly the entire time... Great list and awesome collection of films you have.
  • I admire your being able to just pick 25. I don't have that much self-control. Very nice video .

Damn, the falcon has great taste! Nice wide range in this selection as well.

This list is awesome and must have taken you some deep thought to create. I’m not sure I could even do a project like this because it would change hourly!! πŸ˜‚. For instance, right now if I would make a list, Buffalo 66 would be at the top of my list but once I go through some of the movies on your list I have not seen, that may change. Thanks for this insight into how you think! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  • I found a copy of Cannibal the Musical on dvd at a library sale for $1 still sealed.

Great selection!! I have 100's of movies but find myself going back to alot of your picks over and over!! Love your channel!!
  • Your favorite kubrick are also mine. I also really love falling down.

Ace Ventura When Nature Calls is my favourite Jim Carrey film. Massive bias from having watched it hundreds of times as a kid. Same with the Naked Gun, it's infinitely re-watchable and I catch new jokes almost every time I watch.
