Hey guys, today I'm going to show you how to cast net, and store a ton of bait. One of the giveaway winner chase shot me a text and told me there were pilchards up by his house, so you know I had to make the trip him so I could test out my new Black Pear Cast Net and store up on pilchards. Huge shoutout to the guys over at Black Pearl Cast Nets for sending me literally the best Net I've used in all my years of fishing. Make sure to go check them out www.blackpearlcastnets.com/ and enjoy the video!

I like that style of cast. I learned a "wade throw" technique, net and rope all on right hand and no teeth involved and can even throw while wading in water.
  • I'm moving to SWFL in June, I've been very curious about cast netting for bait. Thanks for the tutorial ! When I first saw you cast I thought " he's a lefty" haha ! Always something new to learn. Thanks !

Love my Black Pearl. Well worth the money especially if you throw a lot like we do down here.

Adam so wish we could use nets in CA. We pay huge amounts to bait barges that get live sardines anchovy’s mackerel and squid. A recreational trip for small boat $100
  • Love your videos man problem is I live in Iowa and we're only allowed a five foot net When I used to live in Florida I used to throw an eighth to twelve and bought my kids both a four foot and taught them

Get a small chicken dolphin and try salt baking it whole with the skin on, it's pretty good and moist that way.
