The year is 1994, sometime in Feb. My father is escorting me to secondary school, somewhere in Western Uganda and the weather is quite perfect. This song is blasting away on a radio in a blue UTC bus as it snakes the hills and valleys of Kabale. Tjis is the first time am leaving home for a long time. Fast forward, am now a Certified Public Accountant, large family and lots of kids. I will never forget this sensational song.

I'm 17 years and from Ghana and this always gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. Even though its a love song, it motivates me, been through a lot and still going through a lot but I have hope that one day I would come out of all these challenges. This song has literally saved me.

There's nothing in the world like being at one of Bryan's concerts. He's amazing and so are his band. Can't wait to see them again. ❤

As a child I use to love this song, but as an adult I can truly appreciate it. ❤️

Maybe I´m really old by now.... but all that Bryan and his band needed was to stand there, singing the song and play their instruments - and it was phantastic! They needed no half-naked dancers, no fireworks no big show around them. Just THAT voice and those talented musicians. For me that is what real good music and talent is all about!

This song was my mom's favorite. She passed away in 2012 due to bowel cancer. Now, whenever I hear this song, it brings back memories of her and the loving care she provided for us. The lyrics echo sentiments I wish I had expressed to her. 😢
