Enjoying a calm, high-overcast day in South Carolina. I flew to Santee Cooper, which is the name of the 2 collective man made lakes (Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion) created to generate power back in the early 1900's. They are referred to as Santee Cooper because the power project utilized the nearby Santee and Cooper rivers to form the lakes. And because I was seconds away, I made a landing at Berkeley County airport in Moncks Corner, just off the lake, before flying home to Grand Strand airport (KCRE).
