Word has it that in 1941 a couple months or so after invading Russia the SS realized they had a huge storage problem (Russians and Polish Jews and where to put them) Hitler delegated the decision to Himmler who then delegated it to Heydrich who then made it happen, what became known later as the holocaust. Hitler knew about it of course because he was the one who approved it, but Himmler and especially Heydrich made it happen on a grand scale not seen before in human history as far as wholesale murder and human genocide is concerned.
  • Heydrich’s goals were certainly focused on achieving the objectives outlined in the Final Solution, but not for the reasons many interpret them to be. His goals consisted of climbing the ladder as far as he could within his career no matter the cost. Successfully carrying out the horrific plans that were relayed to him were simply a huge part of his perfectionist personality. Oddly enough, it was actually Heydrich’s wife who was a mega-Nazi and a powerfully influential person in his life. Based on historic information, she may even have been worse of a person in terms of her anti-Semitic, ignorant, wretched personality. Her social influence helped Heydrich attain his specific job within the Nazi party, and once hired, he was excellent at his job, and he did not like to fail. His actions with them weren’t carried out based on party dedication or personal convictions, they were based on finding meaning being a robot, not so much a Nazi. That was simply the job title. —Just my opinion.

The numbers of people murdered by the Nazis was staggering, literally off the charts. I have to wonder the perpetrators that carried out these murders, surely it must have affected them physiology. How can one kill thousands of people in one day and then go home and be normal with their families.

I'm a musician but I find the background music to these documentaries quite annoying. And as much as I'd love to listen to them, I avoid them.
  • It would've been better for the Jews if the Madagascar plan hadn't failed.

The " historians" don't add anything that can't be said in the narration itself. It's not like they were there.

Since when did Heydrich become the "architect of the holocaust"?.
