Born in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture

- Started playing basketball at the end of the second grade
- Won a national mini-basketball tournament in the sixth grade
- 2003 Eimei High School (Kagawa Prefecture) Best 16 in the inter high school competition
- After graduating from high school, entered the Yamato Boat Racing School
- After a year of training, became a boat racer
Promoted to B1 in her first season (top winning percentage in 98th season) and promoted to A1 level in her fifth season.
- Won the Amagasaki Anniversary race in January 2013 against strong male racers
- Became the first woman to board in the Dream Race No.1 boat in the Derby in 2004. She overturned pre-match predictions and pushed her way to the top of the leaderboard with a start of 0.03 tenths of a second from the inside, and entered a new page in the history of boat racing.
She then took two maternity leaves before returning to racing. Suddenly, she was back in the A1 class with a winning percentage of 7.08. She also posted a 7.25 winning percentage in the second half of '20, her second consecutive season with a high average.
- In August 2020, won the 34th PGI Ladies' Championship for the first time, after 11 appearances and 5 championships, by Makuri from the second lane.
- In 2008, married Masakazu Fukuda, a boat racer who was her senior in the same prefecture. They are a family of four with two children.
- In 2009, was named the Best Newcomer Award
First female athlete ever to do so
- Number of victories: 30 times as of August 2020
