Blind Test Musicals (Broadway, off-Broadway, movies)

I’m mad that be more chill is classed as “easy” literally the only one I didn’t get 😂

Tbh the Easy round and Medium round should be swapped around, the Medium ones were all super famous songs and musicals 🙂

i've never been to a musical but i still got half of em right :D hamilton, heathers, dear evan hansen, mary poppins, hairspray, beetlejuice, grease, chicago, six, mean girls, legally blonde, and mary poppins 2

love that the ballad of sarah berry was the intro song, it popped up in my spotify playlist one day and jammed out hard.

everyone missing jekyll and hyde and then there's me who missed almost half of them but screamed because i got it but then realized it's because i'm doing jekyll and hyde right now

Also 20/24. Missed Be More Chill, Jekyll and Hyde, 24 Chump Street (which I've not even heard of), and Addams Family. Most of the rest I got within 5-10 seconds though. Sometimes even if I've never heard the song before I can figure it out by the lyrics or the music style. For example, I've still not seen Anastasia and only know "Once Upon a December", but I know the story well enough that the name Anya and a society coaching scene is a dead giveaway.

(I didn’t get Anastasia, fiddler on the roof, marry poppins (because I didn’t think they would put it again ngl), I’ve never heard the Adams family musical at all nor Jekyll and Hyde 😔)

I got 10. Not bad considering I’m newer into the whole musical theatre thing. It would’ve been 11 if I actually said Dear Evan Hansen out loud but I didn’t so I didn’t count it.

I9/25. I was excited that I got the last one right… I didn’t remember that specific song, but I was like “that sounds like Anthony Warlow from the Jekyll and Hyde era!” God that man can sing. This was fun… thanks!

As a person who played Albert in my middle school's production of newsies, that one was the one i screamed through the house at full volume. Im glad that one was there. 😂

21/24 Didn’t get Anastasia, Marry Poppins Returns, and The Addams Family. Guessed a lot of them in 5 seconds though (mostly cuz I like repetitively listening to my favorite musicals). And for the ones I haven’t seen but guessed quickly anyways, some voices and tunes are just incredibly iconic and memorable (ie Hairspray, Newsies, Book of Mormon, etc)

I liked this! And I found it funny that the 'hard' level songs took me longest to get right and thus were the most difficult for me. (And I only missed Be More Chill, Anastasia, and 21 chump street. Though I have to say that hearing plastics, believe, beheaded, and the music style for Hamilton helped me out too. xD)

I had to sing pulled for my solo competition. I was apparently the first one to sing that in my choir teachers years of teaching 💅✨
