I'm 63. Loved it as a young teenager. Still love it today. Nobody is doing masterpieces like this today.

Funny how this song itself is now an old-fashioned love song.
  • These guys were the biggest selling band in the world following the breakup of The Beatles

    サッカーとこの曲が好きだった要君に捧げます。青春は遠く過ぎ去ってしまいましたが、友の長髪と笑顔が、この歳70歳になっても忘れられないものです。

This came out when I was a kid. I consider us the lucky ones, that grew up in the 60s-80s with the best music.

My lord.. so glad I was born in 73.. in the back of the station wagon.. mom and dad had this rocking.. as among others... it's so mysterious and nuanced.. such soul and spirit. Today's music has nothing

Not sure people today could appreciate how good these guys were. Great vocals!
  • My very, very first album. Summer of 1972, and mom gave me a $5 bill so I could go look around the stores while she went shopping. Mom told me I could spend $3 of it, and had to give her the change. I went to the record store, naturally, as a 13 year old, and bought this album because of this song. Mom flipped when she found out I spent $4 on an album, but she cooled off when I played this album on the family stereo at home, and my aunt came in and said she liked this song. My second album was Black Sabbath Vol.4. Mom did not like that one. Yeah, I started to take a turn for the worst after my Three Dog Night days!

Great song written by The one & only Paul Williams. I love it!!❤😅😊
  • My Grandfather introduced me to Three Dog Night. This was the only song I listened to for a month after he died. Every time I hear it, it’s like he’s here. No need in bringing him back because he’s never really gone. Love you, Grandpa.

  • Growing up in the 70s it sure was a whole different world and these guys are so underrated

This song reminds me of a girl in college I was quite fond of. We talked and walked, but I never revealed my feelings towards her, I was just an old fashioned guy I guess. I still remember her and attach this song to her, cause it was playing when I knew her. My heart throbs whenever I hear this song and her images appear vividly in my mind. Hope you're doing well girl, you we're a good girl, but I, I was just an old fashioned guy, too shy to reveal my heartfelt feelings of you.
