  • this guy put tons of effort into making this vid insanely to the point and understandable. For that, he gets a sub.
  • @diamondjaguar
PERFECT!!!! How all videos should be done. To the point, no backstories, just raw explanations.
  • @GottaBeCAP
straight to the point, no filler. I was locked in the whole time. Feels like I can actually do this myself!!
  • @SL07K
Followed it myself because I’m getting new rims tomorrow and they all turned out amazing, it took me about 8 hours to do all 4 calipers and about $40 for all the supplies at Walmart and it’s so worth it. If you have unpainted calipers this is an amazing weekend project worth doing.

I clean mine with brake cleaner after I sand. Drys fast also. It also rubs all over spray off rotor if not masked correctly rubbing with a rag. Also if you want a darker paint finish use grey primer. If you want a brighter finish colour use white primer.

Man, sir, that was perfect. No screehing heavy metal intro, no ten minute intro of your life with wheels, no cussing, articulate (communication major...) and sooo easy to understand. My only complaint is that I have a Honda with those exact wheels and now I have to mess with them as well. Thanks for nothing!
  • @Mr.PeabodyateU2
If you do choose this method I highly suggest masking off the entire wheel well from over spray, the over spray will definitely be noticable inside the wheel well, and also recommend masking off some of the outside fenders, over spray is no joke it gets everywhere, or you can choose to use brush on paint, still looks just as good, no worries of over spray, much less masking..

I remember the first time I did this totally on the fly years agp on a grand am and it still held up very well without primer. I think after watching this I can expand on it and even do a way better job on my current car- caddy xts. The type of paint you use is always very important.
  • Wheels and brakes turned really nice! It’s amazing how some thorough work can save you a bunch of money and the transformation is really great! Thanks
  • @joeeggert1525
Didn't even think of doing my calipers until I was watching your wheels video. They look so good now! Both videos are underrated. Thanks a million.
  • @petesky007
Worth mentioning that you use axle stands and not to rely on the car jack. Also, some cars (VW, Audi etc) are more difficult to lift from a single point at the front so to be able to rotate the front wheels you need to jack up both sides. My preference is not to use spray paint but to use caliper paint (which in the UK can be had for £5) and after 3 coats gives a smooth finish and there's none of the overspray.

By far one of the best tutorial videos you will find here. This man is so professional and knowledgeable. He speaks clearly and go to the point right away. Now after watching this great tutorial I have to paint my Volvo c30 calipers . Thanks a lot for this excellent video
  • @jerrysummer69
Finally someone who simplifies the process! Thanks man
  • @bankait_rex1860
Dude I been doing the same thing since like ever, so glad you touch the point on just good old paint, never had an issued either and even before cans, I used to just do mine with a brush and never had an issued, people now days just go crazy with things they do not even need so Thank you for that!.
  • @logan5326
Great tutorial video, clear directions and straight to the core. Awesome “before” and “after” results. The video speaks for itself! Cheers from NYC 🗽👊🏻
  • @MYZTICTRAVLER
3 years later and this video is still bringing value! Thanks for this great production and info!!
  • @Titanykus
Dude, you have everything most videos lack. Straight to the point, great view, well explained, no camera shake or wierd angles. Subscribed and Iiked, DONE!
  • Very clear instructions. You described everything you were doing beforehand. You gave reasons why or why not to do certain things and I like that. In a teaching video it is important to describe the pros and cons of the process. That leaves no guesswork. Thank you for sharing with us and for being sensible about it. Subscribed!
